When you drink this potion, it cures any disease afflicting you, and it removes the blinded, deafened, paralyzed, and poisoned conditions. The clear red liquid has tiny bubbles of light in it.
That is way overpriced, 2500 for a single rare consumable that is potentially only useful for half a round until you are hit with the same affect again. I would price this elixir anywhere between 100-500gp depending on the magical capabilities of the land and whether or not it is something common in the world you are playing in.

You are correct!
This is what it should say (DMG pg. 257)
When you drink this potion, you are cured of all magical contagions. In addition, the following conditions end on you: Blinded, Deafened, Paralyzed, and Poisoned.
The clear, red liquid has tiny bubbles of light in it.
So why isn't this just called "Elixir of Curing Aliments"? Besides getting cured, where is the health part? I mean heck, 3d6 + 4 or 2d4 + 2 just make it actual rare and HEAL like the name says.

Posted Feb 24, 2025So this is one of the only ways to cure a disease nowadays it looks like. Unless disease is specifically tied to poison now.

Posted Mar 27, 2025There is no disease in 5e24. Probably disease is regarded as curse or poison.

Posted Oct 24, 2025compare the pricing to the various potions of healing 100-500gp is far too cheap. it is a rare potion so should at least the same as superior healing
