Posted May 27, 2019Does the clairvoyance effect require concentration, as the spell?

Posted Sep 3, 2022No because this does not allow you to CAST the spell. You just gain it's effect.
DMG page 141: https://www.dndbeyond.com/sources/dmg/treasure#Spells
"Many items, such as potions, bypass the casting of a spell and confer the spell’s effects with their usual duration."

Posted Nov 30, 2022What does it mean you gain the effect of clairvoyance? Clairvoyance isn't an effect that targets a person. Does it put the sensor on your body? If so, what's the point of that when you could use both seeing and hearing at the same time without needing to concentrate by just using your face?
