In order to ensure the company's compliance with applicable tax laws, we are introducing (on a go-forward basis) a sales tax charge on subscription auto-renewal transactions. This change will impact subscribers who have subscribed before December 4th, 2019, and have not been charged sales tax on a regular basis (post-December 4, 2019 subscribers are already charged for sales taxes). The sales tax amount will be calculated based on the provided state and country of residence. These sales tax charges will be added to all recurring transactions. No charges will be applied retroactively.

Posted Feb 12, 2022This might worth to be put on the front page, or sent out as a notification to subscribers, as not everyone checks the changelog. (I would even argue if this even should be in the changelog, as I thought it's more about the changes of the software, and not the terms of service...)
