I just want to clarify something RE the Product Key Redemption:

Does this mean that if I were to purchase the hard copy of a book (e.g. Player's Handbook), I'd get a product code to unlock its digital counterpart?

 No. Read it again.

All it means is that there is the possibility to redeem codes to unlock material in the system; and that there is currently one product (the "Dragon Heist Platinum Edition" - NOT the normal book, but the one specific $500 Platinum Edition) that already provides a code that can be redeemed. It does not state that the existing hard copies would retroactively (and magically) get some arbitrary code that would unlock these contents.

It was stated several times, that the hard copies (printed, published and sold by Wizards) do NOT grant access to the material in DnD Beyond (published and sold by Curse). This has not been changed. :)

Hi, the bottom right quick jump shouldn’t be needed. All of the options should be available at the top of the action box on landscape

Strongly consider allowing people who purchased the hardcover rulebooks, especially the core books like PHB, DMG, and MM, to use some kind of unique code to unlock that content in DDB without having to buy it all over again

 It has been discussed several times: the hardcover books are sold by wizards, the dndbeyond content is sold by curse. This would be the equivalent of mcdonalds throwing you a free sandwich if you buy a bottle of coke from Walmart.

Not to mention that there is no unique identifier in the books, so there's no way to track how many people try to redeem the code from one copy - not to mention there must be pdf copies of the books that most people don't pay for...

I find it tiresome that people keep asking for this without thinking it through properly. If you wanted to add a second physical PHB to your gaming table, you'd have to pay again (you don't automatically unlock one because you already own one). If you pay for a DDB copy, however, everyone in your campaign can have access to it. It's still a great deal.

Please make it to where we can redeem our physical copies on dndbeyond. I would actually use this site then. Until that happens, this is pretty much missing out on pretty much everyone who already has the books being apart of their users.

This is covered so many times by so many people. It isnt going to happen. Two different companies offering two different products. Do you get the kindle version of a book because you brought the hard copy from barnes and noble? NO. And can you let 12 people view your hard copy at the same time at your table? NO. People shouldn't compare holding a book the the ability to digitally share and hold all content. 

And for their pricing and community engagement and success, you not joining or getting their products at this point is only hurting you.

Our group already had Ph, DMG, MM, XGtE, and VGtM but have since joined DNDB and bought all of them over, and many of the other books because the digital toolset is so much better than having a giant stack of books each

 It's literally discussed right above your posts (and a several other places as well). And I pretty much bought all the books I have here as well, so I doubt your generalising statement is true in every case.

He makes some really good points, it might be less confusing if DDB stops using the actual D&D logo so people quit thinking they’re part of Wizards of the Coast.

 I think it's more about people don't read, just write their demands (on one hand, it's almost understandable, with the answers scattered among so many threads), and/or don't think. And yes, there's also the assumption that WotC is running dndbeyond, which mostly comes from the previous reasons...

i own every 5th edition book up to date, im a big fan of your products, will there ever be a way to redeem past purchases on this platform, i dont want to buy all those books on here again...thats like 400 bucks.
