Greetings Everyone!
We're happy to announce the Digital Dice Alpha is now live on the Character Sheet for subscribers only.
These digital dice will help you reduce the math you have to do when playing D&D. We encourage everyone to give them a roll and tell us how they feel!
If you'd like to turn off Dice rolling on the character sheet for any reason, you can click on your character dropdown and toggle the Digital Dice off.
As a thank you, you will also receive a free set of Old School dice that celebrates our roots. You can activate them by going to the My Dice page under "Collections" on the top nav.
If you'd like to learn more about how to use the dice or to give us feedback, visit our Digital Dice Feedback Forum.
Thanks all. Happy rolling!

The old school dice don't really look like the Original dice that came with OD&D.
I'd love to be able to make similar rolls from monster sheets in the combat tracker.
Being able to toggle on damage modifiers like a rogue's sneak attack would be a big help.
A shared digital dice table/list would be helpful so that DMs can see all the rolls and players don't hide bad rolls. I love the digital dice but without this important sharing feature it isn't really practical for real games.

Nice job with resizing the Skills column, guys! Upgrades, people, upgrades!
Thank you so much for fixing the look and feel in the latest update, much better!
Some attacks/spells that require two different d/dice rolls at once only rolls one set. For example Chaos Bolt rolls 2d8 and 1d6. But with the alpha dice roll function, it only rolls 2d8.
Of course you can work around this and do a 2d8/1d6 custom roll, but that defeats the purpose of just clicking the damage of the spell on the character sheet.
Not completely sure if this is just for this spell or others are similarly effected.
Edit: basically the exact same thing renownedfalls said. My bad for not reading first, but bump, I guess.
I want to turn them off but can't because it blanks out my entire character sheet.
So, I just logged into my account here to look review a sheet I made some time ago and noticed that I have the dice roller active. I was surprised because I have not actually subscribed to DnDBeyond, but I have purchased official books on DnDBeyond. Is this just a glitch, or does purchasing books classify you as a sub? I also noticed, my dice roller says "Beta" not alpha. What is the difference?
The main difference is that it is now available for everyone, not just subscribers; but it's still not a fully finished bugless product - it's just safe enough for allowing the whole userbase (stress)test it.
I wish instead of fancy digital dice, you guys could focus more on missing and broken features in the core tool. For example, converting spell slots to sorcery points is still not supported, and homebrew magic items can't add actions... There are dozens of issues like this scattered throughout the forums that people have been pleading for forever and have gone ignored.
