Homebrew Worg Species Details
CHANGING CREATURES
An average worg lives about 45 to 50 years, if it is not killed before that. It is said that if a Worg lives more than 50 years, it starts transforming itself into a completely different creature called a Guulvorg. This change makes the worg grow in size, resembling giants and giving it more strength and speed, but the changes have a price. Little by little, the worg loses its intelligence, as well as losing the ability to speak languages. Their body loses all of its fur, and the skin beneath it dries up and shrivels.
Most worgs accept this destiny in hope to obtain more power, even if it costs their intelligence. To avoid the transformation, a worg can find magical means to stop the changing process or to at least slow it down.
EVIL HERITAGE
The worgs can commonly be found in company of goblins, orcs, or other evil creatures, though not all are in their company. Some worgs are abandoned when they are still pups and found by other intelligent creatures whom raise them as part of the family, others learn that they can live better by themselves or with other creatures.
