Homebrew Zoltan Species Details
With the majority of their bodies composed of pure, harnessable energy, the Zoltan are ambivalent towards the Galactic Federation. Whilst a deeply officious and obtuse people, they generally favour diplomacy over acts of aggression and are known for being fair and just in their dealings with others. Due to their alliance with the Engi, Zoltans often appear in Engi Homeworlds or the various Engi-Controlled Sectors of space, although they inhabit their own home systems as well. Being ingenious experts of technology, the Zoltan race pioneered a unique ship-based shielding technology which can be found on nearly every Zoltan vessel. These shields are very difficult to breach, however they cannot regenerate during a battle - unless a Shield Overcharger drone is deployed. Therefore, once they are impacted by enemy fire enough to deactivate them, Zoltan vessels must rely on conventional shielding systems. They and the Engi control many sectors, but they themselves are rarely seen outside them.

Zoltan Ministers tend towards Lawful Good-Neutral, whereas Duskbringers tend towards Chaotic Evil-Neutral.

Zoltan are generally slightly shorter than humans. Your size is Medium.
Speed
Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Duskbringer Zoltan
The Duskbringers are are classified as a terrorist organization by both the Federation and Zoltan Ministry. Despite this, many members of the Ministry secretly support the Duskbringer ideals.
The Duskbringers practice utmost dedication to their beliefs, and rely on suicide bombing tactics with their naturally explosive Zoltan abilities. As such, many of their ships come outfitted with clonebays.

Your Dexterity score increases by 1.
Energy Burst
As an action, you can release all of the energy inside of you, taking damage equal to twice your level, which can not be reduced in any way. Everyone within 10 feet of you must make a DC 15+Prof Dexterity saving throw, taking twice the electric damage (Four times Level) on a failure or half as much on a success.
Lightning Immunity
You are immune to lightning damage.
Minister Zoltan
The Zoltan Ministry is one of the Federation's strongest allies, but their relationship is all but stable. The Zoltan government, especially in Universe 0 , has shown a reluctance to back up their promises, such as refusing to send troops during the critical battle in the Last Stand.
Lightning Fighter
All unarmed strikes and weapon attacks you make deal an extra 1 Lightning Damage
Ability Score Increase
Your Wisdom Score increases by 1.

Posted Oct 5, 2022I have a Rockmen race in progress, of which I have not touched for a few months, due to having lost energy on Homebrew. Thus if I ever get my energy back, you can definitely expect more.
