Greater Invisibility

Per the definition of the Invisible condition, yes, any equipment you are wearing or carrying is also invisible.

WHat is the difference between this and regular invisibility?

Death slaad should have this.

Also the 1 minute duration for Greater Invisibility compared to 1 hour for Invisibility.

Do you mean, can you cast it on yourself?

If so, then yes. The spell targets "a creature you touch", and you are a creature you can touch.

that makes me wonder if there ever could be a situation where you can not touch yourself.  Like could that even happen? how would that happen?

Nothing breaks the invisibility. With regular Invisibility, it ends when you deal damage, make an attack, or cast a spell. Greater Invisibility makes you invisible for the duration and you can just hit everything with advantage and escape everything for an entire minute. If you put it on a Rogue, he just gets Sneak Attack every single turn.

Nothing breaks the invisibility... except for the spell ending.

So if you see someone cast this spell, just hit them until their Concentration breaks.

Per regular invisibility ""The spell ends early immediately after the target makes an attack roll, deals damage, or casts a spell." Greater invisibility doesn't end early when you do this, so you can attack and cast spells that don't require concentration while invisibile.

The difference is that greater invisibility doesn't end if you make an attack roll, deal damage, or cast a spell, which the 2nd level spell invisibility does. so greater invisibility is really only useful in combat, and not if you're just trying to be sneaky.

This one also makes the creature invisible when they attack,cast spells,or deal damage,meanwhile the other ends when someone does on of them.So the difference is they this one is higher level and it makes the creature extra undetectable.
