In addition, the ground in the Emanation is Difficult Terrain for your enemies.

Magic Missile does not have an attack roll, just damage. I don't see this working with Fireball for example.

Critical Hits
When you score a Critical Hit, you deal extra damage. Roll the attack’s damage dice twice, add them together, and add any relevant modifiers as normal. [...] If the attack involves other damage dice, such as from the Rogue’s Sneak Attack feature, you also roll those dice twice.

Posted Sep 2, 2025Yes, an attack by definition has to involve an attack roll. This spell does not increase the damage of things that aren't attacks, which would include Magic Missile and Fireball.
