You touch a creature and choose Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma. For the duration, the target has Advantage on ability checks using the chosen ability.
Using a Higher-Level Spell Slot. You can target one additional creature for each spell slot level above 2. You can choose a different ability for each target.

Awww, they took out all the little extra buffs :(
Doesn't include Constitution anymore?
True, it doesn't, but remember that it only applies to ability checks (in both 2014 and 2024). When was the last time you made a Constitution ability check? Not a saving throw, an ability check.
Here's my homebrew fix: you set the chosen ability to 19 unless it's higher. If you upcast the spell, you can potentially set the ability higher.
Main asset I can find beyond the obvious advantage on skill checks would be easier dispel magic setup since it is one of the few spells that use your ability check casting stat left. Most others that called for a stat now outright ask for a ability check (w/ a skill) or converted to a save (such as telekinesis albeit thats due to grappling changing as well).
This works on ability checks with skills too. Skill checks are ability checks.
