Skyrim inspired indeed.  I like the spell.  The name, range, and School it belongs to I do not agree with.  I myself would make the spell have range of 30 (or 15) only push back 5 feet, and damage and feet pushed go up with level. (10 feet at 5th level, 15 feet at 11th level, 20 feet at 17th level.) I think I will steal this.  Thank you.

One cannot steal what is freely given. This spell is meant to represent that caster shouting something like “get back,” “eff off,” or even just “aaagh,” (hence the name), and it is Transmutation (instead of Evocation) because the spell transmutes the shout into concussive force. (And I wanted to make a voice based spell like this, and there aren’t a ton of direct damage Transmutation spells so I figured it was due.)

Official cantrips that force movement like Thorn Whip or Lightning Lure cap at 10 feet of forced movement, and have shorter ranges. With a 60 ft. range, and by targeting one of the three “weak” saving throws this spell is already pushing the limits of “balanced.” If both the damage and the forced movement increased the damage die would have to drop to a d4, the range would have to drop too, and the save would have to change to Dex or Con. Otherwise this would be broken for a cantrip.

Came here from our forum discussion on resetting Hit Dice. I really like the spell. The word forceful doesn't take two "l"s, however. ;)

Thanks you. (Unfortunately spelling is not my strong suit. Even more unfortunately, republishing sucks eggs, especially spells. It leaves ghosts and I already have the ghosts of the first 15 versions of this spell haunting my homebrewer. 😒)

 I sympathize. I've got tons of homebrew spells with 3,4, or 5 versions before I realized they would haunt me, as you say, when trying to add homebrew spells to class features and such...
