Okay, I would just run this so any gods or such get a notification when this spell is cast and now you have to deal with several god armies trying to stop you. Good luck. Might be fun for evil parties to defend the caster tho.

this is so awesome

I feel like in most DnD settings, if you tried to cast this spell you'd just be stopped by Divine Intervention anyway, assuming the gods of the setting are of a comparable power level to something like Greyhawkor Forgotten Realms.

first of all, a 10th level spell ain't a thing in the game

second, "sacrifice 666 spellcasters and become Asmodeus until killed in the 9th hell or gain this spell as a cantrip"

  666 is WAY too many

  so you just become the NEW Lustful ruler of the River Styx?

  so your saying, after going to LEVEL ******* 20, where I KNOW how to manage Magic, and using this spell, I can play a Lvl1 wizard who dies of 1d4 [everything] damage and cast it at will?

also this spell is basically a Doomsday in the palm of someones hands, imagine a wizard who can't fully control their magic having this spell, one slipped word, one accidental gesture, 1 consumption of very harmless materials can become the next Armageddon and they wouldn't even know

So does this mean Asmodeus destroyed a previous universe to become Asmodeus?
