You touch a willing creature who isn't wearing armor, and blow the candle or torch used in the casting of this spell in their direction. Instead of the light being snuffed out, the flames drift towards the target of the spell, surrounding them in the halo of a protective inferno. The target's base AC becomes 13 + its Strength modifier. If this spell is cast on a creature that does not have fire resistance or fire immunity, they take 1d8 fire damage every round (or every 6 seconds) that they spend under its effects.
Any creature that moves within a 5 ft. radius of the target of this spell takes 1d4 fire damage as the intense heat scorches their flesh. This damage is also dealt if the target of this spell moves within a 5 ft. radius of another creature. No subsequent damage is dealt after the initial movement if both parties hold their ground, though if either the target of this spell or another creature move out and then back in the 5 ft. radius, the damage is applied once more.
The spell ends if the target dons armor or if you dismiss the spell as an action.
