Monk
Base Class: Monk

Born into a family of clerics, you could never get it right.  You didn’t seem to pick up on the magic verbiage, or the use of components.  Your family sent you to a monastery to clear your mind and find what was holding you back.  It was here you learned hand to hand combat and martial arts.  Still, as an exceptionally gifted student, the cleric calling seemed so far away.  Months later after heading home to give the dreadful news to your father, you entered the house to find him clenching his chest on the floor.  You tried to summon the power to heal him, but nothing happened.  In frustration and sorrow, you slapped your father’s chest while shouting for anyone to come help.  It was at this moment, your hands began to glow and warm healing energy burst into his chest.  Your father was saved by your healing hands.

Slap to life

Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you may use a Ki point to open hand slap an ally healing them for 1d4 + your proficiency bonus and half your monk level.  You may also use a Ki point to remove stun, paralyze, frightened, or charm from an ally by slapping them.  Slapping an unconscious ally will cause an automatic death save failure, 2 if you roll a critical, but if the slap doesn’t cause 3 failures, they receive the healing.  If you roll a critical, the healing dice are doubled.

Slap out the yuck

At 6th level, you gain the ability to use a Ki point to slap poison or disease out of an ally.  They can’t be poisoned or diseased until after their next long rest.

Got the Life

Beginning at 11th level, when landing a critical hit with your fist on an enemy, you hit them so hard that the life force splashes from their body and all allies within 20 feet split the damage as healing.  You may now also burn 3 Ki points to revive a fallen ally to 1 hp if done within 1 minute of them failing all 3 death saves.  This gives you 2 points of exhaustion and cannot be done again until all exhaustion points are removed.

Handyman

At 17th level, you gain the ability to spend 3 Ki points and heal an ally 1d12/half your monk level + your proficiency modifier.  You gain healing equal to half the amount of your ally’s healing total.  Also, your Slap out the Yuck ability can now remove curses.
