Monks of the Way of the Earthen Fist learn to manipulate the very earth around them. They are often travelers whomsimply seek to enjoy the best this world has to offer, but will hold stout like a mountain in the face of a challenge. This forms was originally beholden to Dwarves and dwellers of the Underdark, but 

Monks of the Way of the Earthen Fist are typically party goers, loving every festival they come across. They enjoying the pleasures of both the city and the wilderness with wild abandon, seeking to leave behind no regrets before returning to the Earth from which they draw their power

The walkers of this way usually abstain from footwear to deepen their connection to the element they have forged such a close bond with.

Stone Reslilience

3rd level Way of the Earthen Fist feature

Your body is fortified like stone. For every level you take in this class and every level you’ve taken, your hit point maximum increases by 1.

Tremor Sense

3rd level Way of the Earthen Fist feature

Your connection to earth has given you a Tremor Sense equal to 5 x your proficiency bonus.

Rock Toss

3rd level Way of the Earthen Fist feature

Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you can hurl stones by force of will.

You gain a new attack option that you can use with the Attack action. This special attack is a ranged spell attack with a range equal to your movement speed. You are proficient with it, and you add your Dexterity, Strength, or Wisdom modifier to its attack and damage rolls. Its damage is bludgeoning, and its damage die is a d4. This die changes as you gain monk levels, as shown in the Martial Arts column of the Monk table.

When you take the Attack action on your turn and use this special attack as part of it, you can spend 1 ki point to make the special attack twice as a bonus action.

When you gain the Extra Attack feature, this special attack can be used for any of the attacks you make as part of the Attack action.

Stone Shift

6th level Way of the Earthen Fist feature

By spending 2 ki points as an action, you may force a creature to make a Dexterity saving throw versus your ki save DC. On a fail you can choose one of three effects:

  • Sink Hole - The creature sinks into the earth below them, and is considered restrained. They must pass a DC 15 str to break out, take 2 actions to dig themselves out, or magically move through or out of the Sink Hole.
  • Stone Pillar - A stone pillar shoots out of the ground and pushes the creature in a direction you choose equal to five times your Wis modifier (minimum of 5 feet). Large and larger creatures have advantage on the saving throw.
  • Earth Tremor - You shake the earth and the creature falls prone. The stone or earth areas around the creature to a radius of 10 ft becomes difficult terrain regardless of if the creature made the save when this option is chosen.

You may target additional creatures by spending an extra 2 ki points per creature targeted.

Rock Slide

11th level Way of the Earthen Fist feature

You gain a Burrow Speed equal to your movement speed. Additionally, while moving on Earth or Stone, you may spend a ki point as an action to silently slide along it for 1 hour, granting advantage on stealth checks on stone based terrain for the time, and ignoring difficult terrain.

Earth Form

17th level Way of the Earthen Fist feature

By spending 5 ki points you take on an Earthen Form for 1 minute, which grants the following benefits:

  • You gain +2 to your Armor Class
  • You gain resistance to bludgeoning and slashing damage.
  • You become one size larger
  • You gain a Slam Attack Action. It uses your whole attack action, you are proficient with it, and it deals 2d8 + Wisdom, Dexterity, or Strength modifier in bludgeoning damage, and when you use that as your attack action you may use that on your bonus action, or spend 3 ki points to make it twice instead of once with your bonus action.

You may still use other class features while in this form.
