Soul Wardens are expert martial artists who know just how to handle the harshest of fighting.

Center Soul

Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you learn how to withstand most harmful effects.

Whenever an effect you are aware of forces you to make a save, you may use a reaction and spend 1 Ki point to gain advantage on the save.

Kiai

At 6th level, you gain the ability to breath in a meditative way and focus as fighting gets tough. 

As a bonus action, you may spend 3 ki points to regain a number of hit points equal to the number of creatures within 5 feet of you times you unarmed strike die.

Nimble Fighting

Starting at 11th level, you learn how to fight dynamically, moving with the fight and adapting to enemy movements.

Whenever a creature you can see within 30 feet attacks, you use your reaction and spend 1 ki point to move to it, make an unarmed strike attack targeting it and imposing disadvantage on the attack roll, provided that you can move and attack.

Close Combat

At 17th level, you gain the ability to dominate enemies up close, through masterful positioning and manipulation.

You have advantage on grappling checks. If you have a creature grappled, you may use a bonus action and spend 1 ki point to make another grapple check agains the grappled creature. On a success, the target is also knocked prone. If you would hit a creature that is grappled and prone with an unarmed strike, the hit is considered critical.
