Base Class: Monk
As a Way of the Thunderous Soul monk, you gain the ability to channel your unarmed strikes like a bolt of lightning. You opt to utilize your full strength through the means of a single decisive blow, and your powerful strikes will send even the biggest of opponents reeling. As a disciple of the storm, you learn to tame it; to, in a sense, weave and guide the surges of thunder that appear so chaotic. By way of the storm, you learn how to use your opponent's attacks against them, being able to endure, strengthen, retaliate, and repeat.
Roaring Fists
Starting at 3rd level your fists reverberate with thunder and you become able to manipulate this thunder within the strike down your foe, causing your unarmed strikes to deal additional 1d4 + your proficiency bonus Thunder damage, additionally enemies hit by your unarmed attacks must make a CON save or be knocked back 5ft. The DC for this saving throw is equal to Ki save DC.
Channeled Strike
At third level your strikes are focused, precise and potent. When you make an unarmed strike using your action, you may consume any number of Ki points you have available to add 1d4 thunder damage to your unarmed strike per each Ki point consumed.
Thundering Momentum
For every 5ft of area you've moved this turn, you gain one charge of Kinetic Thunder, which disappears if it is not consumed by the end of your turn. While you have Kinetic Thunder charges, your next unarmed attack does an additional 2 thunder damage per charge. All charges are consumed upon making an unarmed attack.
Thunderous Retort
Starting at level 11, you gain a Static Thunder charge every time an enemy strikes you. When an enemy makes a melee attack against you, you may use your reaction to consume all static thunder changes as well as 3 Ki points to discharge your static energy into a 10ft sphere around you, forcing all affected creatures to make a CON save against your Ki save DC. On fail, the burst deals 1d6 thunder damage to all affected entities per charge consumed and knocks back all enemies 10ft. On a success, the enemies take half damage and are not knocked back. Additionally, you now resist all thunder damage, and you cannot be moved by force from any effect.
Avatar of the Storm
All enemies you knock or push back through any means now take 1d4 thunder damage for every 5ft they've been moved, and all sources of thunder damage from you ignore enemies resistances and immunities. Additionally, you may now take the Heart of Storms action by using 8 Ki points, which turns you into an Avatar of the Storm for 10 turns. While an Avatar of the Storm, all unarmed strikes made by you deal an additional 1d8 thunder damage. Additionally, dealing thunder damage to enemies while you are the Avatar of the Storm gives them the Thunderous Resonance de-buff for 3 turns. While you are the Avatar of the Storm, you make take the Thunderous Rage action to end the form early. Then, all enemies with the Thunderous resonance must make a CON save against your Ki save DC or take 1d12 Thunder damage per Avatar of the Storm turn duration that remained when the action was taken. On a success, enemies still take half damage. Heart of Storms may only be used once per long rest.
