Monk
Base Class: Monk

Invented by Bahamut in the form of a young monk, the Way of the Dragon is a monastic tradition that seeks to emulate dragons. When you take this tradition, some omen precedes it, perhaps your body temperature permanently rising, or a dream of a Dragonborn.

In battle, your hands overflow with your dragon-like ki and burst into elemental fury as you strike. You might grow wings or breathe fire in battle, or exude a terrifying aura of menace.

Dragon Ki

When you are in combat, your dragon-ki saturates your hands and bursts in elemental fury with your strikes. Your unarmed strikes deal extra damage equal to your Wisdom modifier. The damage type of your unarmed strikes can be changed to acid, cold, fire, lightning, radiant, necrotic or poison (you have to pick one when you get this feature)

Armor of the Dragon

You can use your ki to manifest scales in reaction to an attack. As a reaction, you can spend 2 ki points to increase your AC by your Wisdom modifier, an effect lasting the rest of the round. You can make an opportunity attack if this makes the triggering attack miss.

Wings of the Dragon

At 6th level, your mastery of dragon-ki allows you to alter your body further. You can spend 4 ki points to gain a flight speed of 60 feet for 5 minutes or until incapacitated. When you do this, dragon wings sprout from your back, potentially destroying clothing.

Breath of the Dragon

At 11th level, your body fills with elemental power; you are truly becoming draconic. You can spend 3 ki points and your action to release energy of your Dragon Ki choice in a 30-foot cone, forcing targets to make Dexterity saving throws or take 4d10 damage of your Dragon Ki damage type, taking half damage on a failed save.

Dragonfear

At 17th level, you gain an aura of menace. You can spend 6 ki points and your action to activate it, forcing all creatures within 80 feet of you that you select to have to make a Wisdom saving throw or take 7d10 psychic damage and become frightened. If they succeed, they take half damage and are not frightened. Frightened enemies get saves against your Ki save DC to end the effect.
