Base Class: Monk
This monk tradition was created for those who loathe the power that some people are born with, and they use their intense training to dominate both spell casting and martial enemies.
Misdirection
Starting when you choose this tradition at third level, When you hit a creature with an attack made by your flurry of blows feature, they can no longer take opportunity attacks against you until the end of your next turn.
Magical redirection
Starting also at 3rd level when you choose this tradition, you can use your deflect missiles feature on any spell that fires a projectile, as long as the spell is of a level no higher than 1/3 your level, rounded up.
Paralyzing touch
Beginning at 6th level, when you force an opponent to make a save against your stunning strike, if they fail the save by 5 or more, they are paralyzed instead of being stunned. Additionally, you can spend 1 extra ki point to paralyze the magic flowing in someone’s veins, until the end of their next turn, if they fail the save against your stunning strike, they can’t cast spells other than cantrips.
Masterful technique
At 11th level, you have honed your body to near perfection, and gain the following benefits:
- Your high jump height and long jump distance increases by 10 feet.
- When a creature misses you with a melee attack while they are in your reach, you get an opportunity attack against them.
- When you get an opportunity attack, you may take 2 attacks instead of 1.
Anti-magic body
You have trained your body beyond perfection in order to protect it from all likes of magic. Starting at 17th level, you gain the following benefits:
- You have advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.
- Whenever you are hit by a spell, you can use your reaction to expend up to 5 ki points, reducing the damage by 1d10 per ki point expended.
- You take half damage from any kind of damage caused by a cantrip.
