Base Class: Barbarian

Barbarians tend to focus on bears end elks, but certain groups have inherited lesser known totems. Now you can become a platypus totem barbarian or an accountant totem. Don’t know why that exists.

Neglected Totem Spirit

adopt a path of a totem you choose and gain its feature. The (optional) changes to your form depend on the totem you choose, because I didn’t even know that was an official thing, like who reads descriptions nowadays am I right?

Accountant totem

When you got big muscles and a big brain. When you make an attack roll while raging, assess the right angle for attack and strike, adding 1d4 + your intelligence modifier on a hit once per attack action.

your head gets slightly larger and a ethereal Tie appears around your neck when raging that cannot be removed and disappears when you stop.

Axolotl totem

Become an embodiment of the sea with the mysterious lizard thing. 

Roll a hit dice and heal the number. This is expended from your hit dice for short rests and may only be used twice a long rest. Upon losing a limb. it grows back in a number of days equal to 4 x the weight of the lost limb

your skin turns a shade of pink, blue, or yellow and is far smoother.

Platypus Totem

Become God’s attempt at Frankenstein and gain the abilities of the weirdest animal in the world. The platypus. 

You emit a teal glow in the dark that can be turned on or off as a bonus action. You don’t know why this happens, but a 60 foot cone of bright light and 120 feet of dim light emanates from you. Every creature that starts their turn within 5 feet of you must make a constitution check equal to 8 + your proficiency modifier + your constitution modifier. On a fail they cannot have advantage on attacks against you.

Aspect of the beast-ish

Gain another benefit from your totems. Yes, this will be exactly like totem warrior, what did you expect?

Accountant Totem

Become an even BIGGER nerd. Your large brain hurts your enemies.

become immune to psychic damage while raging because you are just sooooo smart. And while raging, Your weapons are psychically charged, every creature you have hit at the end of your turn must make a wisdom save equal to 10 + proficiency + your intelligence modifier or be overpower by your massive dome.

Every creature that has failed their saves is shoved to the ground prone. They remain prone until the start of your next turn, where they may stand at the cost of no movement.

your brain grows even larger! And while raging your weapons look like an office supply of your choice. This has no effect on gameplay whatsoever, but looks cool.

Axolotl Totem

Gain the water movement of an axolotl.

you gain a swim speed of 80 feet and can breathe underwater.

feathery gills appear from your head.

Platypus Totem

Venomous spurs appear from your ankles. Allowing you to kick an enemy as an attack or bonus action, dealing damage and forcing them to make a con save with a dc of 8 + proficiency + your constitution modifier. On a failed save the target takes 2d8 poison damage and suffers from the poisoned condition. If already suffering from the poisoned condition the attack deals 4d8. On a successful save the enemy takes half damage, and is not poisoned

Ghost Runner

As a ritual you can Speak with your totem animal’s spirits. They speak any language you do. You can speak with these animals for information about the surrounding area if the animals of their type would commonly know. humanoids being the accountant, sea animals being axolotl, and land mammals being platypus. 

you can choose to not ask for information and instead ask for a boon. When you fail an ability check, save, or skill check, you may choose to roll a d6 and add that to your roll. You may do this once per long rest

You’ve finally spent enough time playing this game to get to 14th level! Can you tell me who you play with because this almost never happens! Time to get better totems. 

Accountant Totem

You have mastered the art of being a nerd. Each turn you get closer and closer to solving the equation of death for your opponents. 

you can spend a bonus action every turn to solve a new variable to your problems. Your enemies know how close you are to solving the equation. After spending 6 bonus actions in a combat while raging, you learn exactly how to kill your enemies.when the equation is solved, Once per turn gain a +10 to a damage roll, once per the gain a + 3 to an attack roll, and at the end of your turn choose one creature that you have hit this turn, they gain a -5 penalty to all saves.

Axolotl Totem

Your healing abilities keep you from aging, and you can’t be aged magically. 

as a reaction twice per long rest, double any healing you take, this includes hit dice from short rests and any healing spells or features.

Platypus Totem

A bill extends from your face, gain 10ft of blind sight, as an action, you can make it 40ft. This sight goes through walls but cannot make out specific details if the blindsight goes through a wall.
