Varying Strikes
Starting when you choose this Monastic Tradition, your entrance into a mastery of Unarmed Combat allows you to use various Unarmed Techniques.
- Unarmed Pierce: Instead of using a weapon to make a melee weapon attack, you can use an unarmed pierce. On a hit, an unarmed pierce deals piercing damage equal to 1d8 + your Dexterity modifier. You are proficient with your unarmed piercing attacks.
- Rapid Jabs: As your bonus action, you can spend 1 ki point to make two unarmed piercing attacks as a bonus action.
- Unarmed Chop: Instead of using a weapon to make a melee weapon attack, you can use an unarmed chop. On a hit, an unarmed chop deals bludgeoning damage equal to 1d6 + your Dexterity modifier. Creatures hit by your unarmed chop must succeed a strength saving throw equal to 8 + your proficiency bonus, or become incapacitated until the start of the targeted creature's next turn. You are proficient with your unarmed chopping attacks.
- Precision Slash: As your bonus action, you can spend 1 ki point to make an unarmed chop with advantage. Dealing slashing damage instead of bludgeoning.
Unarmed Bearings
Progressing deeper into chambers never before felt. As you journey into Unarmed perfection, your talents continue to increase. Starting at 6th level you may spend 1 ki point as a bonus action to change your bearing. Each Bearing lasts for a total of 3 rounds. If you change Bearings before the previous Bearing has ended, you do not receive any bonuses; instead you receive a -15 feet of movement, -1 to total Armor Class, and have the Damage Die for all Unarmed Attacks decreased by 1 in value. Ex D8 -> D6.
Mobile Bearing:
- Your initiative value during combat is increased by your Dexterity Modifier.
- You gain additional movement speed equal to your Dexterity Modifier + your proficiency bonus rounded up to the nearest 5th.
Assault Bearing:
- At the start of your next turn, you gain an 1 extra attack action.
- Upon landing an Unarmed Attack, you may use your reaction to shove a creature.
Protector Bearing:
- Your Armor Class in increased by your Constitution Modifier.
- As your reaction, you may spend 1 ki point to resist the damage type dealt to you on the previous turn.
Mastered Bearings
The Depths of Unarmed Mastery have opened, and your knowledge on Bearing have increased, becoming more efficient, granting more effective Unarmed Control. At 11th level you may spend 1 ki point as a bonus action to change your bearing. Each Bearing lasts for a total of 3 rounds. If you change Bearings before the previous Bearing has ended, you do not receive any bonuses; instead you receive a -25 feet of movement, -3 to total Armor Class, and have the Damage Die for all Unarmed Attacks decreased by 1 in value. Ex D8 -> D6.
Bearing of Agility:
- Your initiative value during combat is increased by your Dexterity Modifier.
- You gain additional movement speed equal to your 8 + Dexterity Modifier + your proficiency bonus rounded up to the nearest 5th.
- You may Disengage as a Bonus Action.
- You have Advantage to Dexterity Saving Throws, and Ability Checks.
Bearing of Force:
- At the start of your next turn, you gain an 1 extra attack action.
- Upon landing an Unarmed Attack, you may use your reaction to shove a creature.
- You may, at the start of your turn, as your bonus action, spend 2 ki points. Upon doing so, all Unarmed Attacks on that turn, bypass Armor Class.
- You have Advantage to Strength Saving Throws, and Ability Checks.
Bearing of Fortitude:
- Your Armor Class in increased by your Constitution Modifier.
- As your reaction, you may spend 1 ki point to resist the damage type dealt to you on the previous turn.
- You have Resistance to Bludgeoning, Slashing and Piercing from Non-magical Attacks.
- You have Advantage to Constitution Saving Throws, and Ability Checks.
