Monk
Base Class: Monk

Often, monks who follow the way of the Avian come from monasteries located on the tops of mountains or close to points where the elemental plane of air intersects with the material plane.

Aviary Attunement

Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level you gain the following features

  • When determining the distance of your long or high jumps, you may use your Dexterity score and modifier instead of Strength
  • You can choose to spend 1 ki point to add your Wisdom modifier to the number of feet you clear in both your Long and High jumps
  • You can spend 3 ki points to cast the spell jump

Aerial Combat

If you land a jump within range of a creature, you can spend 2 ki points to take a bonus action and attack. Additionally, you can spend 3 ki points to cast the spell gust of wind. When you cast it in this way, you can spend an additional ki point to deal an amount of bludgeoning damage equal to your martial arts dice to any creature that was pushed by the wind.

Forms of the Air

Starting at 11th level, you can spend 3 ki points to transform into any winged creature with a flying speed and a challenge rating of 1/2 or lower. This lasts for 8 hours. You can use this feature only once per long rest

Master of the Winds

Starting at 17th level, you gain a flying speed equal to half your unarmored movement speed. Additionally, you can choose to spend 1 ki point to push a creature you attack with your unarmed strikes 10 ft away from you for every ki point you spend
