Base Class: Monk
Psionic Style
They can impose their will upon the world, manipulating
themselves and the things around them by using ki in a variety of
ways that make them virtually indistinguishable from psions. While
their abilities are most prevalent in combat, they can do so much
more, as being both trained fighters and strong-minded psions.
Pulse Impact
3rd-level Way of the Transcendent Will feature
Once per turn when you hit a creature (Not more than one size larger than you)
within 5 feet of you, you can spend 1 focus point to bolster the attack with
psionic power. The targeted creature must succeed on a Strength saving
throw or be moved up to 15 feet away from you and knocked prone.
Ki Sense
3rd-level Way of the Transcendent Will feature
As an action, you can spend 1 focus point to concentrate
on your surroundings(as if concentrating on a spell). For 1 minute,
or until you lose concentration, you gain blindsight with a range of
60 feet. Within that range, you can effectively see anything that isn’t
behind total cover, even if you’re blinded or in darkness. Moreover,
you can see an invisible creature within that range, unless the
creature successfully hides from you.
Ki Transmission
3rd-level Way of the Transcendent Will feature
When you speak, you can speak your words
directly into the mind of a creature that you can see within 120 feet
of you, making it so only that creature can hear you. When
speaking this way, your voice appears to come from all
directions for the targeted creature.
Telekinetic Strikes
3rd-level Way of the Transcendent Will feature
Your transcendent will allows you to strike from a distance.
The reach of your unarmed strikes is
increased to 10 feet. In addition, your unarmed strikes can
use your Wisdom modifier in place of your Strength or
Dexterity modifier for the attack and damage rolls, and
they deal force damage.
Will to Survive
3rd-level Way of the Transcendent Will feature
Pursuing their physical strength in order to
improve their will and focus, Way of
transcendent will monks add their strength
modifier to their armor class.
Killing Intent
6th-level Way of the Transcendent Will feature
As an action, you can spend 1 focus
point and choose up to three creatures you can see
within 30 feet of you. You exude a threatening aura
toward the targeted creature and it must succeed on a
Wisdom saving throw or be frightened of you for 1
minute. The frightened target can repeat the saving
throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect
on a success. You can have a number of creatures up
to your proficiency bonus under the effect of your
killing intent at a time. You can choose to end your
killing intent on any affected creature without using
an action.
Lightness Technique
8th-level Way of the Transcendent Will feature
When you use Step of the Wind, you gain a
flying speed equal to your walking speed
until the end of your turn.
Ki Circulation
11th-level Way of the Transcendent Will feature
As a bonus action, you can regain a number of focus
points equal to half your monk level (rounded up). Once you use this
feature, you can't do so again until you finish a long rest.
Formless Stride
11th-level Way of the Transcendent Will feature
When you use Step of the Wind, you can move
through the space of another creature or object, and it doesn't count
as difficult terrain. If you end your turn in another creature or
object, you are shunted to the last unoccupied space you occupied,
and you take 1d8 force damage.
Manifestation of Will
17th-level Way of the Transcendent Will feature
At 17th level, your will has become so powerful that you are able to
manifest it as an external force. As an action, you can spend 7 focus
points to manifest an ego in an unoccupied space within 30 feet of
you. The ego uses your statistics, with the following changes:
- It counts as a construct rather than your creature type.
- Its hit point maximum is half of your hit point maximum.
- It is immune to being charmed and has resistance to psychic and
force damage.
The ego is summoned without any of your equipment. In
combat, the ego shares your initiative count, but it takes its turn
immediately after yours. The ego disappears if it is reduced to 0 hit
points, after you take a long rest, or after 8 hours. When it
disappears, any equipment it is wearing or carrying is dropped in its
space.
The ego is friendly to you and your allies, but it only obeys your
commands. While your ego is within 300 feet of you, you can
communicate with it telepathically. Additionally, you and your ego
share senses and are able to see or hear what the other sees or hears.
Once you use this feature, you can't do so again until you finish
a long rest. The ego can’t use this feature.
