Aetheric Gear
When you apply the following infusions, you may imbue them with one elemental type: acid, cold, fire, force, lightning, necrotic, poison, psychic, radiant, or thunder.
- Arcane Focus: Your damaging cantrips deal an extra 1d4 damage of the selected type.
- Enhanced Defense: When you take damage of the chosen type, reduce it by 4.
- Enhanced Weapon: Your weapon deals an extra 1d4 damage of the selected type on hit.
You can change the type when you finish a long rest.
Level 5: Crystal Expert (5th Level)
While wielding an infusion granted by your Aetheric Gear feature:
- The Arcane Focus and Enhanced Weapon bonuses increase to 2d4.
- The Enhanced Defense reduction increases to 8.
- When you cast a spell that restores hit points or grants temporary hit points to a creature, they also gain resistance to your selected element until the end of their next turn.
Aether Charged
When you cast a spell that deals two different types of elemental damage, you may treat one damage die of each element as if it rolled its maximum value. This applies only to the spell’s base damage dice.
Additionally, that spell ignores resistance and immunity to those damage types.
You may use this feature once per turn.
You can also apply this feature to your Arcane Focus if it is imbued through Aetheric Gear.
Aetheric Lord
At the start of each day, you may produce a large Aetherite shard. As an action, you can shatter the shard to transform into an Elemental Form for 10 minutes. This transformation grants the following benefits:
- Your creature type becomes Elemental.
- You gain a 60 ft. fly speed.
- All spells deal the shard’s elemental damage type.
- Spells of that element cast at 2nd level or lower do not consume spell slots (1 per turn).
- You gain Extra Attack, and weapon attacks deal the shard’s element + 2d4 extra damage.
- You gain 40 temporary hit points.
- You absorb damage from your shard’s element (healing the damage) if the source is not yourself.
The transformation ends early if you fall unconscious or use your action to end it. Once you use this feature, you cannot do so again until you finish a long rest.
