Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

Some Barbarians can draw power from their ancestral connection to a dragon. Their path is one of transformation and raw, draconic power.

Elemental Affinity

Your draconic blood infuses you with an affinity to a particular element depending on your ancestry. Choose one of the following damage types: Acid, Cold, Fire, Lightning, Poison or Thunder.

While your Rage is active, you have resistance to that damage type. You can roll 1d8 in place of the normal damage of your Unarmed Strike, and whenever you deal damage with a Weapon Attack or an Unarmed Strike, it can deal your choice of Elemental affinity or its normal damage type.

Dragon’s Breath

Just like your ancestor, you can unleash an elemental breath attack from your mouth.

While you are Raging, when you take the Attack action, you can replace one of your attacks with exhaling a breath weapon, which is either a 15-foot cone or a 30-foot line that is 5 feet wide (you choose the shape each time). Each creature in that area must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC 8 plus your Constitution modifier and Proficiency Bonus). On a failed save, a creature takes damage equal to an amount of d8s equal to your Rage damage of the damage type determined by your Elemental Affinity. On a passed save you take half the damage.

When you reach 14th level, if the target passes the save, the next time **YOUR** dragons breath is used on them, they take double damage.

You can use this feature an amount of times equal to your Rage Damage, regaining all uses after you finish a Long Rest. You can also expend one use of your Rage feature (no action required) to restore one use of it.

The size of your Dragon’s Breath increases to either a 30-foot cone or a 60-foot line at level 11, and to a 60-foot cone or a 120-foot line at level 17.

Dragon’s Breath

You can draw from the name of your draconic ancestor to imbue you with power in combat. While you are Raging, you gain one of the following benefits according to the draconic type of your ancestor:

Chromatic. Your weapon attacks and Unarmed strikes deal an additional 2d8 damage of the elemental type associated with the ancestral dragon. When you deal damage with weapon or unarmed attacks, each creature of your choice within 10ft. of the target (not including the original target) takes 1d6 + your Proficiency Bonus damage of the same elemental type.

Metallic. Your weapon attacks are considered to be silvered and adamantine-plated for the duration of your Rage. Any critical hit against you becomes a normal hit.

Gem. Your weapon attacks are imbued with psionic accuracy. When making a weapon or unarmed attack on your turn, you may add your Wisdom modifier as a bonus to hit and to damage rolls. Additionally, you have Advantage on Intelligence and Wisdom saving throws for the duration of your rage.

Full Draconic Potential

When you activate your Rage, you can unleash your full ancestral potential and transform into an avatar of your draconic ancestor. This form lasts for 1 minute or until you drop to 0 Hit Points. Once you use this feature, you cannot do so again until you finish a Long Rest.
