Base Class: Monk
Monks of this tradition choose to train their bodies to be harder than any armor and their limbs to be sharper then any blade. Their spiritual studies match that of any other tradition, however, focus on strength and endurance over speed and finesse.
Unarmed Blade (LVL3)
Beginning at 3rd lvl your unarmed strikes can deal Bludgeoning Slashing or Piercing damage. You choose with each unarmed attack.
Iron Body (LVL 3)
Your unarmored defense can uses strength instead of dex if you choose. (10+str mod+wis mod)
Weapons are for the weak (LVL3)
Your monk die is one size larger (ie d6 becomes d8, ect) when using unarmed attacks instead of using weapons. (including monk weapons)
Impervious Body (LVL 6)
As a bonus action spend 2 ki points to activate all of the following effects until the start of your next turn. -You gain resistance to all non-magical damage (changes to all damage except physic at lvl 11) -You have advantage on all Str and Con saving throws -You auto fail any dex saves -Your movement speed is reduced by half, your swimming and flying speed are reduced to zero and sink/fall to the ground.
Powerful Blows (LVL 11)
Spend 3 ki points to double your monk damage die until the end of your turn. You can activate this ability before rolling damage for any attack that uses Martial Arts damage die.
Master of Body and Soul (LVL 17)
Spend 3 ki points to make all monk die deal max damage until start of next turn.

Posted Mar 22, 2020The idea was a monk who doesn’t focus on speed and nimbleness but rather strength and sturdiness. Someone who has trained their limbs to be more dangerous then any weapon, and their body as sturdy as any armor. Who forgoes any ranged capability for increased durability and devastating melee attacks. Thought maybe the level 11 and 17 abilities might be op when combined, however the ki cost is pretty big and while it can out damage quivering palm, is average damage will be less due to needing to hit with multi attacks. I kept Wis for the unarmored defense as it is used for stunning strikes. My first attempt at home-brew subclass, please be kind, and happy for any constructive criticism you can offer.
