Base Class: Monk
Monks who follow this path use their entire bodies to manipulate enormous weapons in a way to deftly strike their enemies. This allows them to control large warhammers, axes, and greatswords without necessarily the strength to wield them normally. Using their own bodies as a ballast, Monks of the Way of the Swinging Ballast can unleash devastating strikes on their foes, while using their momentum for mobility and protection.
Full Body Weapon Control
Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you can use your entire body to use weapons normally too heavy or large for you to wield properly. All weapons that have the two-handed and heavy properties are now considered monk weapons for you, and you gain proficiency with one weapon with the two-handed and heavy property of your choice.
You also do not gain disadvantage on using heavy weapons if you are a small sized creature. You can only make one attack with your heavy/two-handed monk weapon per turn, and cannot make attacks of opportunity with them.
Momentum Dodge
At 6th level, you gain the ability to use your weapon's momentum to position yourself on the battlefield after a strike.
After taking the attack action on your turn with your Full Body weapon you can use your bonus action to launch yourself and your weapon to a point 15ft away from you. This movement does not provoke opportunity attacks.
Barrier of Steel
Beginning at 11th level, whenever you are targeted with an attack, you can move your weapon in between you and the attack.
You can use your reaction and 2 ki points when you are targeted with an attack to gain three-quarters cover for that attack (+5 AC). You must be wielding your Full Body weapon to use this feature.
Pendulum Strike
At 17th level, you gain the ability to use your weapon's momentum to hammer your opponents.
After landing a strike using your full body weapon, you can expend 3 ki points to use your extra attack to strike again with your full body weapon. This second attack has advantage, and is a critical hit if it lands.
