Monk
Base Class: Monk

Monks who follow the Way of the Bleeding Harvest use powerful polearm techniques to harvest essences from monsters that boost combat abilities for a short time.

Polearm Proficiency

When you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with glaives, halberds, quarterstaffs, and spears if you don’t already have it. These weapons are monk weapons for you.

Monster Harvest

At 3rd level, as a bonus action, whenever you hit with an attack you can spend 1 ki point to extract your choice of color of essence from your target.

Red Essence. You add half your proficiency bonus (rounded down) to your damage rolls for 1 minute.
Orange Essence. You add half your proficiency bonus (rounded down) to your AC for 1 minute.
White Essence. Your speed increases by 10 feet for 1 minute.
Green Essence. You restore a number of health points equal to a roll of one of the target's hit dice.

Pole Vault

At 6th level, you can use an action to leap half your remaining movement straight up into the air and make one attack against a target. This maneuver does not provoke an opportunity attack from the target. You must be wielding a polearm to use this feature.

Reaped Stance

At 11th level, as soon as you're benefitting from red, orange, and white essences at the same time, you add half your proficiency bonus (rounded down) to your attack rolls.

Bloody Harvest

At 17th level, on a critical hit, you can immediately extract your choice of color of essence from your target without expending a ki point.
