Monk
Base Class: Monk

You choose to follow this way because you wanted to reach the ultimate equilibrium by having a strong and righteous discipline by using weapons. You trained in the monastery alongside other people with the same convictions that you, but not all of them tried to do it with the same method. Some of them trained their bodies to become a temple for their gods, others tried to be the envoy of the nature and it´s wrath or kindness, and the less would seek a more upfront way by mastering the usage of weapons and their techniques like you.

Beginning of the Path

When you reach 3th level and you follow this way, you must choose the type of weapon in which you specialize: weapons that deals slashing, bludgeoning or piercing damage. Depending on the choise, you will receive different benefits from some of the features.

Specialized in slashing weapons: Once per turn, when you hit a creature with an attack dealing slashing damage, you can reduce the speed of the target by 10 feets until the start of your next turn. Also, if you hit with a critical that deals slashing damage the target will have disadvantage on attack rolls against you until the start of your next turn.

Specialized in piercing weapons: Once per turn, when you attack a creature with an attack dealing piercing damage, you can re-roll one of the damage dices and you must use the new roll. Also, if you hit an enemy with a critical that deals piercing damage you can roll another damage dice when determining the extra piercing damage.

Specialized in bludgeoning weapons: Once per turn, when you hit a creature Huge or smaller with bludgeoning damage attack, you can try to knock it prone and the target must make a Strenght saving throw and the DC for it is 8 + your Strenght modifier + your proficiency bonus. Also, if you score a critical hit with a bludgeoning damage attack the creature will be stuned until the beginning of your next turn.

Disciplined Body

At 6th level you are able to deflect some attacks thanks to your diligent training and discipline, letting you reduce some of the damage incoming from a melee attack you receive in your turn using your reaction. You can reduce 1d10 + your Dexterity modifier + your monk level.

If you were able to reduce the whole damage, you can expend 2 ki points and make an attack against the creature with a weapon of the type you choosed.

Refined Technique

When you reach 11th level, your techniques are almost unmatched and this makes you hit and deal a great amount of damage more often. Now you can score critical hits with a roll of 19 or 20. The roll for a critical hit becomes 18, 19 or 20 at 17th level.

This also allows you to add your monk dice to an attack that would have missed, possibly making it hit. This can be used once per turn to a maximum of three times per combat.

And when you use Flurry of Blows, you can use your weapon of choice instead of your unarmed attack but you must use your monk dice for your level.

Zenit

At 17th level, you have mastered the way of discipline and this makes you an unparalleled adversary. Depending on which weapon type you chose before, this feature varies:

Mastery in slashing weapons: When you hit an enemy using a slashing damage weapon, you can expend 5 ki points to add one monk dice per ki point spent and the roll of it will be added to the damage done by the attack.

You can use this feature once per short rest.

Mastery in piercing weapons: When you hit an enemy with a piercing damage attack, you can expend 5 ki points and puncture the enemy so badly that the speed of the target becomes 0 for a number of turns equal to your Dexterity modifier and all attacks made to it are made with advantage

You can use this feature once per short rest.

Mastery in bludgeoning weapons: When you hit an enemy of Large or smaller size with a bludgeoning damage attack, you can expend 5 ki points to make the target prone for a number of turns equal to your Strenght modifier and adding a number of monk dice equal to your Strenght modifier to the damage of the attack.

You can use this feature once per short rest.
