Monk
Base Class: Monk

The monk uses its heightened senses to see through other people's soul. He is judge, jury and executioner.

The order of the Blind Justice has monasteries across the multiverse, from the Material Plane to the depths of Hell, where monks learn to hunt down criminals and punish them.

Judge of Character

When you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you gain proficiency in the Insight skill if you don't already have it. Using your heightened senses, you can see right into the soul of the people you talk to.

Blind Justice

Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you give up your sense of sight, your other senses becoming much more powerful. You can choose a new heightened sense, such as smell, taste, hearing or touch.

Hearing

The monk has an heightened sense of hearing. His ears are especially large and they move as he listens around.

  • He gains blindsight 60 ft (blind beyond that radius)
  • The monk can't use his blindsight while deafened.
  • By putting his ear against a wall, ceiling, floor or object and making a Wisdom (perception) check of DC 15, the monk can see up to half his blindsight radius on the other side.

Smell

The monk has an heightened sense of smell. He has a prominent nose with large nostrils that grow or shrink as he analyses his surroundings.

  • He gains blindsight 60 ft  (blind beyond that radius)
  • If the monk can't breathe underwater, he is considered blind when underwater.
  • He can sense around corners and through walls if there are holes big enough to allow air to pass through.

Taste

The monk has an heightened sense of taste. He has a forked tongue that slithers in and out as he scans the area around him.

  • He gains blindsight 60 ft (blind beyond that radius)
  • If the monk can't breathe underwater, he is considered blind when underwater.
  • He can sense around corners and through walls if there are holes big enough to allow air to pass through.

Touch

The monk has an heightened sense of touch.

  • He gains tremorsense 60 ft. (blind beyond that radius)
  • He is blind to creatures that don't touch the ground and has disadvantage on perception check to spot incorporeal creatures.
  • He can sense through walls, floors and ceiling up to its entire tremorsense range.
  • With a Wisdom (perception) check of DC 15, the monk can see inside solid objects.

More than the Eyes can See

At 6th level, you gain the ability to see even farther with your heightened sense. Your heightened sense goes up from 60 ft to 120 ft.

Additionally, whenever the monk does a Wisdom (insight) check, he can add twice his proficiency bonus.

Greater Hearing

The monk's ears are large enough to detect subtle movement even farther than before.

Greater Smell

Your nose is even more sensitive to your environment.

Greater Taste

The monk's tongue is even more sensitive to its surrounding.

Greater Touch

The monk's tremorsense can detect vibrations even farther.

Curse of the Bleeding Eyes

Beginning at 11th level, as an action you can open your eyes and glare at the world, for up to one minute. As your eyes start bleeding, any creature that you deem an enemy of Justice and that are within a 60 ft. radius with a straight line of sight towards you are affected by the curse of the blind monk. The affected creatures must make a saving throw or become blind for the duration and take 1d6 + Wisdom ability modifier necrotic damage every turn until the curse stops. The saving throw DC for the spell equals 8 + your Wisdom modifier + your proficiency bonus. You must finish a long rest before you can use this feature again.

Vision of the Judge

At 17th level, you gain the ability to see through lies and illusions. Your heightened sense is considered as a truesight, seeing through illusions and shapechangers. Also, you can at will use a bonus action to create (or dispel) a 10 ft radius zone of truth centered on you, which doesn't affect you.
