Monk
Base Class: Monk

Monks of this tradition are often taught the ways of fighting by a dragon itself or from a former student of a dragon. Because of this, these monks display acts of unadulterated fury during combat, and possess powers that are often attributed only to the legendary dragons. Overpowering enemies with their sheer force of will plays a large role in these monks' fighting style, though this doesn't make all monks of this tradition necessarily evil, especially if they hail from the teachings of a metallic dragon.

Fist of the Dragon

Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you gain the ability to weave the dragon's breath into your weapon attacks. Whenever you finish a short or long rest, choose one of the following damage types: acid, cold, fire, lightning, or poison.

After you choose a damage type, whenever you successfully hit a creature or object with a melee weapon attack, you can spend up to 3 ki points to deal an extra 2d6 damage per ki point spent of the previously chosen damage type. You can only use this feature once per round.

Wyrm Scales

At 6th level, your skin hardens and begins to reflect the scales of a dragon. Your AC increases by 1. Additionally, when you choose a damage type for the Fist of the Dragon feature after finishing a short or long rest, you gain resistance to that damage type until the end of your next short or long rest.

Draconic Intimidation

Starting at 11th level, you can cause the enemies around you to tremble in fear at your mere presence. You can use a bonus action and spend 3 ki points to choose up to six creatures that are within 60 feet of you that you can see.

The target creatures must then make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, the creature becomes frightened of you for 1 minute. You have advantage on weapon attacks against creatures frightened in this way. The frightened creature may repeat the saving throw at the end of each of their turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.

Ancient Resistance

At 17th level, whenever you receive damage, you can use your reaction and spend 6 ki points to instead take no damage.
