I just won The Sixth Sword in a AL game and I went to add it and it is not on the sight. It is supposed to be in the Dungeon Master's book, but I am not finding it in the magic items that I bought for that book. I can't just add the +2 Rapier because this item also adds a +2 to my initiative.
Is there a way to add this item and adjust my Initiative?
"The Sixth Sword (+2 Rapier with Guardian minor property) Weapon, rare This is one of marilith S’Sheneth’Rah’s six swords. In battle she was known for her tactical superiority and quick striking. Through years of use, some of her essence became imbued into the sword’s magic and it occasionally twitches at critical times, bringing itself to a ready and deadly position. As a result of this, the wielder gains a +2 bonus to initiative. This item can be found in the Dungeon Master’s Guide."
That item as written is not in the Dungeon Master's Guide. What they probably mean is that you can find the rules for a +2 weapon in the DMG, as well as the minor properties.
Yeah, any custom magic items from the AL adventures won't be in the system, only those from the hardback adventures. You'll need to homebrew that by adding the initiative bonus to a regular +2 rapier I'm afraid.
