I used the plataform in my last adventure. Was awesome! But the master used the Rust Monster in the play. My great axe got rusty but I could not add this to my online character. Please add rusty, broken, scratched, crumpled, burnt and onther conditions to weapons and armor. Thank you ^^

hmm. I wonder if you could create a home brew items and add it to your sheet?
I'd like to be able to view an item in the compendium and then click a button to add it to a character.
Nonmagical scimitars are missing from the equipment list. The only scimitars are +1,+2,+3
Hi Spylock,
please can you let me have further details of which page you were on and how you accessed this equipment list?
I just checked and regular scimitars are present on both the equipment list in the compendium and the equipment manager for a character (I was able to select one and add it to a character).
What: Difficulty of weight use when looking at starting equipment packs
Suggestion: Utilize a table of weights for each pack
Example:
Burglar's Pack
ITEM
WEIGHT
Backpack
-
Ball bearings (bag of 1,000)
2 lb.
String (10 feet)
-
Bell
-
Candle (5 sticks)
-
Crowbar
5 lb.
Hammer
3 lb.
Piton (10 count)
2 1/2 lb.
Lantern, Hooded
2 lb.
Oil (2 flasks)
2 lb.
Rations (5 days)
10 lb.
Tinderbox
1 lb.
Waterskin
5 lb. (full)
Rope, hempen (50 feet)
10 lb.
Total
42 1/2 lb.
For simplicity, I used a lot of your site's own code. If you guys don't want to invest man-hours but do want this, I'm completely willing to make one up for each pack. As a DM, it's valuable enough for me -- and I know other DMs who feel the same.
Can't create an item to add attack and damage to unarmed attacks or natural weapons. Tried recreating my own version of the Insignia of Claws from Horde of the Dragon Queen and had to choose a damage type. Unarmed attacks can come in multiple damage types, like with aarakocra and tabaxi having slashing instead of bludgeoning. There are also items that can enhance attacks and damage without being specific to a weapon so it's a weird structure to require the damage type when it's the weapon itself that determines that. I can see now why there are gazillions of entries for weapons and armour instead of having just "Weapon +1" as something you add to a specific weapon.

The ability to do that is in the works - we've got it working for the actual Insignia of Claws, but haven't turned it on for the homebrew forms yet.
I'm really loving DnD Beyond so far. It's much better than other D&D management databases I've tried in the past (even as far back as 2nd and 3rd edition) but my one minor complaint about items so far is that there's no way to easily add the "Starting Equipment" for a class during character creation. If you make a pre-created character, it'll add the weapons and equip them sure, but it doesn't seem to add the clothes and tools and such.
I'd like for there to be an easy way (maybe even 1-click or a few clicks) to add your basic starting class's gear, and your background gear / equipment. Like a few steps where you could click one option or another (Greataxe / Other Martial Weapon, Dice / Cards) or even just have the program pick everything for you (Greataxe, Dice, Woodworker Tools) if you're supposed to select between multiple options.
Anyhow, I really like what I'm seeing so far. Getting into D&D has never been this painless imho, and even though I stopped playing right as 3.5 was coming out, I may just get back into things. The streamlined rules are REALLY impressive to me. 4th edition was kind of interesting, but not enough for me to actually start playing again, but 5th seems up my alley.
It would be helpful if there was a way to assign equipment owned to entities other than one's character; for example, if my character owns a mule, being able to assign the item to the mule so that the weight doesn't count toward my character's encumberence.
I'll start off by saying that I have not yet read the posts throughout this thread.
It is strange to me that you list the starting equipment, but do not have an option to add those items without manual input, and switching between tabs constantly. If this is just something I missed, my bad.

They're working on adding that.

Are there any plans to add the Dragongleam item (HotDQ pg. 69) and the Tome of Strahd (CoS pg. 221) to the magic items list.
These should be available as purchasable content at launch either individually, in bundles, or by purchasing the modules.

I am attaching a screenshot. I went to weapons and clicked load more until I got to Scimitars.
After you said it should work I was able to add it by searching for Scimitar.

This might already be called out, but I can't find "holy symbol" in the standard equipment list.

The Staff of Thunder and Lighting is bugged.
It should be a weapon, not an item. At current it makes all weapon attacks +2 and isn't equipable as a weapon.

The magic item Dragongleam from Hoard of the Dragon Queen pg. 69 is missing if you set items to just Hoard of the Dragon Queen items.

Is there a way to add the option of an item having been silvered for swords or artillery?
