When I PM people, it looks like it takes almost 5 minutes to receive notification that a message has been received. Also,the email sent notifying you of a private message being received seems unnecessary.

Notifications are setup on a job/cache, so 5 mins seems about right.

to no get emails https://www.dndbeyond.com/account/notifications go to this page, at the very button uncheck "New private messages to you"
