Yeah, it's a WIP as BadEye said, so things will shuffle a bit, I expect. Certainly an encouraging preview though!
Wish they would give a rough timeline
To repeat the well-versed litany, I won't give timelines for unreleased development until it is clear we will hit those timelines.
What I can give, however, is the prioritization of the development pipeline. This changes occasionally with community feedback, but currently it is:
Backgrounds revamp (soon), equipment management updates (starting equipment, containers), character sharing/ copying/ ownership transfer, source filtering (and the first pass of AL aids), wild shape/ companions, and then this revamp.
To put it in perspective, the reason I've said this mock is not a final product is it is just that - a mock. We are in the concept phase on this since we are incorporating thousands and thousands of posts of feedback. I would love to move quicker, but it would have been a mistake to react hastily on something as important as this is. The best path long-term was to compile all the feedback and act when we had clarity.
While it won't be our policy to reveal our full, blown out roadmap (too many variables), I will be sharing what I've shared above and discuss it via our monthly developer update livestream that will start in the next couple of weeks. More on that soon.
Thanks!
Are updates to the character sheet export tucked in there somewhere or is that after?

That is not correct. Or if it is, it's far from clear. 'This revamp' refers to the digital sheet and, if I'm reading it right, specifically the desktop layout of the digital sheet. Perhaps it also incorporates the mobile digital sheet. But the pdf export sheet is a different matter entirely. That's a matter of what gets exported from the DDB and how it displays on the pdf (which obviously differs a great deal from the digital sheet).
And to clarify-- I'm hoping that gets updated soon, since it's of great relevance in one of my campaigns, for which DDB is primarily a character builder to print out sheets. But I also know that's not the main function of DDB for the broader user base. So, I get it might not be as high a priority for DDB team as it is for me. But, here's hoping.

Will it be possible not have some things on the PDF? In this instance, I’m not sure why I would need JoAT listed if it’s calculated in my stats.

If it's like the current export feature (which I assume it will be) it seems to export to an editable PDF, so you could likely easily just remove the things you don't want.

No, there's a great deal of manual effort that goes into these snippets/ short descriptions, and we can't support the grammatical implications of an option for that.
We'll start a poll on whether more people want it in first or second person. Good luck on your side winning!

Any preview mocks I've posted here are not final and do not necessarily represent what will ship. It is entirely layout, look, and feel we're conceptualizing now.
In this case, we just pasted in a big string of text that included all the Bard's class features. Features that are directly represented other places on the sheet (such as the 1/2 proficiency display on the skills pane) will not be included in the Features & Traits section.
Jack of Many Trades may be a bad example; because not all aspects of this are accounted for elsewhere in the sheet. A straight-up ability check, such as Tool Kits, Counterspell/Dispel checks, and other such things are presumably not represented on the sheet, so a Bard player may actually appreciate still having the text of the class feature included.
I may have missed it(I don't have time to read the entire thread), but is there a reason the background, archetype, and other options are missing a lot of the choices from the 5th Edition Player Handbook? For example, my rogue is supposed to have the Assassin archetype at level 3, but the only choice is Thief. Apologies if this has already been answered, and thanks in advance! This site is fantastic, and I understand it's a work in progress. Thank you for creating such an awesome tool!

I expect it's because you haven't purchased the PHB to open all those options. Only the limited options form the Basic Rules & SRD are available until you do.
I echo the others thanking you - you folks are doing great work and I really appreciate it.
