So correct me if this is already out there, but I would like the ability to build characters for campaigns and then distribute them to people or load them into the campaign for people to pick from.
My group tends to do a one shots occasionally and I am used to building the characters for them so as too keep things simple, fast paced, and themed (when necessary).
The ability to transfer character ownership is happening. I like the idea of "claiming" a character. We'll see what we can do there.
Is there a way to add a I created DMPC to a campaign? Or is that one of the adjustments coming when the copy/transfer update goes live?
For the record, it's not actually a DMPC. My friend is switching off and acting as DM this time around, so I want to put my character in, but it's all under my account.
Use the Invite link, Luke. Use the Invite Link.
My concern here (and please correct me if this is wrong) is that the DMPC slot (or rather, the character slot utilized by the campaign owner) eats up one of the slots available in a shared content campaign.
I want a "blank" DM screen that allows me to pick the rules/charts I want to display on it and it allows me to move them around on the screen so I can set up the layout best for me.
We've got that on the list. No ETA, but it's on our radar.
That would be incredible. Add in other components like PC stats (perception, ac, link to the character sheet), initiative/combat tracker, campaign management elements, etc. Tie it to a subscription and that'd be a must have at many tables.
Is there any eta on any updates to the Campaign Manager, I love DnDBeyond and would really enjoy incorporating it more into my campaign, but in the current system there isn't a whole lot to work with in terms of management.
I'd really like to see something akin to Realm Works in DDB with all the info loaded when purchased. An on/offline app which can pull in your purchased adventure, preload NPCs and monsters, hyperlink maps, and generally do all thee page flipping we would do with a book. Margin notes, need to add notes into the preloaded content. Once the basics (yes, it's a lot) are done, then I'd look into the extras like timeline, character ties to NPCs, and an ability to tie multiple adventures into one huge campaign (ie Tyrrany of Dragons).
As part of the preloaded adventure books I'd really like to see encounters pre built so that when the party gets to that point all I would need to do is click create encounter. Then all the monsters and players are added. Even better if the encounter would scale appropriately for the party. The ability to edit the recommended encounter ahead of time would be great as well to save time.
I'd like to see a random table builder where you can enter custom content, or even just specify what broad categories of content you'd like, and have a table generated on the fly.
Having a dozen saved, pre-made random tables at my disposal would be a satisfactory stand-in for this website not bothering to include any encounter preparation, map editor, NPC/Faction management system, or custom module-centric content.
I get that you're trying to sell the merch, but the way to do that is to just build what we want and will use. Do that, and I promise we'll all sink hundreds of dollars into the extras on offer. No need to limit the number of characters I can create to 6.
Transfer characters between users within a campaign.
DM can create characters and then transfer to players of the campaign.
Ability to transfer the DM role to another member of the campaign.
Multiple characters per campaign – revise the current limit of 12 characters.
I'm not entirely sure if it was unintentionally overlooked, put under another category, simply not a popular enough opinion to be considered or brought up in a different thread entirely.
But one of my own requests in the thread was to remove the function/limit that "a character can only be in 1 campaign at a time." (you know how it turns gray if you try to add it to another game). That's not quite the same as having multiple characters per campaign, but just as important.
I would also like to mention another similar idea that may not have been very popular or just may not have been brought up in that specific thread and if so is a fault of my own, but an idea that i wouldnt think would take any extra effort than what is mentioned above but not just the ability to change DMs but the ability to assign multiple DMs so they would have the same privileges
As a DM I don't allow a character to be in more than one campaign at a time, if your character changes between sessions I will remove it from the game or kill it.

When I create a campaign there is no character until I add one, so no slot taken.
If you add a DMPC is the situation above that someone else will DM for a session so you don't want to take up a slot just turn it on for the game and then deactivate it afterwards (unless you already have 12 characters in the game already.)
I would love to be able to flow chart a world/campaign/dungeon/evil organization.
I am still a relatively new DM and am building my first non-linear campaign (a pirate council/intrigue campaign where my Players will have to figure out whom to ally with) and flow charting it is essential to keeping everything organized.
This is not the only time i have flowcharted for DnD. I typically flowchart any dungeon I am running since I can access information faster than a map and can ignore rooms they skip easier than a list, and I flowchart my world building for organizational purposes, and of course flow charting an organization works better than a list.
As a DM I want to see a simple 1 screen view all of my PCs with their AC, HPs, Abilities, Stats, etc.
Added bonus: Be able to interact and apply conditions,, healing, damage, etc.
I think this would be awesome, especially as a sort of "living system" where if I update a character's conditions, it shows on their screen without refreshing
Is there a way to see a consolidated list of the features that are under consideration for campaign management, perhaps ordered by priority? Is there a roadman for these features?
I would truly love to see a campaign manager/world builder capabilities to work within the DDB sight with the character sheet and digital resources on the level of World Anvilor even some sort of license deal or cooperation (between DDB and World Anvil) to give users of both the ability to link things together in some sort of meaningful or use way. Same with Discord for communications, to have a cooperative deal, etc.. Maybe also look for ways to include other resource content/game supplement providers such as Kobold Pressetc. even means for DDB users/members to produce digital materials to sell to other users even for just DDB credit sharing revenue with DDB who could get a cut. Raise the value of what is found at DDB to the users that would attract more users and give others more of reason to either turn away from print materials or see more value and need to own both print and digital content versions. Look at how DC Universestreaming is doing to make its new streaming service more value oriented to its fans with not just streaming content with movies and series but also access to digital comics making it more of the one-stop shop etc. for true fans. The same sort of approach can be taken with DDB and D&D fans and gamers. I just offer the above as examples of something to aspire towards. I love DDB and would really like to use as my one-stop place for my D&D gaming needs. etc. and not have to go to other things to cobble it all together.

I make stuff on DMs Guild, DriveThruRPG, & Storytellers Vault. I stream things on Twitch.

★ Content sharing/player roster cap of 36 is more than fair, but spread over more than 3 active campaigns. Some of us are running A LOT of games.
★ Ability to add full-sized homebrew classes - Not just sub-classes
★ Add Mystic & Artificer (just add to the same section as Blood Hunters)
Currently Running:
Odyssey of the Dragonlords | Skull & Shackles | Mythic Odyssey | West Marches of Paradise Vale
Currently Playing:
Rime of the Frostmaiden

Okay, Next request. Flow Charts.

Has anyone added "Party Tracker" to the list?

Do you consider adding a "dice roller" feature to campaign management or character sheet interface?
I think it will enhance the usability of dndbeyond in gaming sessions directly .
Most definitely - updates, journals etc as posts - ability for comments etc on them. This would be a great way to share a journal of the adventure.
I would like to see some sort of a bookmarks page for quick access during a game. As a DM it would be extremely useful.
I’d really like to see the adventure maps hyperlinked to the room descriptions.
I want this too (possibly even tooltipped at-a-glance on hover). It's something that we have on the roadmap for 2019. We'll keep everyone updated!
