Sorry for flooding the first page, but this is like the most important aspect after the ability to search to me :)
Please don't apologise - that's some great ideas there!
The best thing about this is, the community is able to help Curse shape the D&D Beyond site to be everything that we, as D&D DMs and players, want it to be!
I'd like such a feature to have at a glance: Name, location, affiliation. Perhaps "recent interactions" too. Ideally a mini-page/sheet with what has been mentioned in that post (preferably 'tooltippable' from the aforementioned "at a glance" bit).
My campaigns tend to gather tons of those, and it's usually the trickiest bit to track conveniently.
- "Right, Modraug the Dirty. The dwarf." - "Yes, we met him at the Castle of Dread, wasn't it?" - "No, that was Dragmu the Muddy. Modraug is his older brother, from the coal mines." - "Which one did we give the Armor of Cleanliness to?" - "Uh... lemme check..."
Hey Envaris (or anyone upvoting it) -- When you mention dropbox/onedrive/google drive integration, can you elaborate on what you want? I'm not sure I understand what you're looking for DNDBeyond to do. Are you looking for it to link back to your 3rd party docs? what would the purpose be?
Anyone post a request for each campaign to have their own forum/thread?
Staff mentioned it's easily possible, so I'm curious if it's something people want. If so, toss the suggestion up there! :)
I think I missed that one - have to go back and upvote it.
This will be "interesting" to parse since it's already 4 pages in and I'm seeing multiple posts for essentially the same thing from people who can't be bothered to read through and upvote what already been suggested. <sigh>

Agreed I wanted to comment there but that would be counterproductive, I'll just say
Everyone please read the posts, including BadEyes guidelines before posting. Upvoting the idea that exists should be done instead of reposting it or "fixing" it to your standards. That should be done here, in the discussion. There's already a combat encounter feature suggested, tell us here what you want in it as opposed to what the original poster said

It's time-consuming, but not difficult to do and we've been talking about how to create meaningful stats from it, so don't worry - there are plans! :)
Post #3 - Player notes -- I want to clarify that for player notes I think it would be valuable for each campaign member to have both public and private notes. Maybe a "group notes" section for the public side.
Post #15 - place to create homebrew adventure -- This sounds amazing. I would love to have a blank "template" to build out my own adventure within this. I'm sure it's probably a more difficult task, but if we can homebrew monsters, spells, and items, why not the whole campaign?! I'd like to have a customization option as well as described here -- allow the DM to mark a section of the adventure "Public" (as in for the players for the campaign), while keeping other sections Private (as in for the DM's eyes only). The public section could contain your setting information, backgrounds, what a person living in that world/realm/universe would generally know. The Private section would be the adventure as you write it up.
Several posts -- Encounter Builder -- Something I think that is important to encounter builder that I haven't seen explicitly mentioned is having some sort of "calculator" to help figure out the easy/normal/hard/deadly encounters based on CR, like what it in the DMG. The idea would be to input # of characters, their level, and also be able to add monsters and automatically calculate the battle CR based on that. Include a section that can add a "modifier" to the CR of the battle or the monster based on environment variables (who has high ground, are lair actions involved, surprise, etc.)
Post #39 - roll statistics -- if a Dice roller is implemented, this would be cool to track. In my opinion not a need at all, but could be something neat/fun.
Post 106 - Part about changing monster stats -- This is an excellent idea. I'd much rather be able to add a monster to an encounter and manually adjust statistics to track here, rather than having to create a homebrewed version of the same monster just to level it up/down a few CR. The "quick" ability to do this would be fantastic. Also just being able to set the HP you roll (not have to roll it in DNDBeyond, I might roll the HP with my dice, then enter the value I got as that actual monsters HP -- Goblin 1 might have more than Goblin 2.
Since I don't think I've seen in put in separately anywhere:
Roll20 and/or Fantasy Grounds Integration
At least the ability to bring character sheets into those applications. But additional links of content would also be valuable (transferring encounters, etc.)
I realize this is only borderline 'campaign management'. But just in case, the DDB team would put it in the same category, just wanted to add it to the list.

i would love to have a language option that give the compendium and other content in other languages ... i know they releasing some translation from the books lately i saw them in french for exemple but they should do them in german / spanish etc... ... doing so would open up for you a new pool of potential buyers since for 1 book in french the price is around 90$ cdn. + some of my grp members arent very good in english that would help them and they would buy some of the content they want to play with. i know basic is already translated also monster and player handbook the DMG should come out soon in french too.
that would be nice to have that option not just in campaigns but should be there also for when you share your content + character sheets

I'm trying to create my first campaign as a new (today) Master tier subscriber. Is there a way to separate out encounters in my new campaign? Is there a way to plug monsters from the content I have access too (only basic rules right now) into the encounter? Is there a way to plug my PC's into an encounter so I can run an initiative order within the program? I cannot find any of this.
So, for now, I'll have to continue to rely on Game Master 5 to run my campaigns. That app can do all of the above. And it was a one time purchase of about 5 bucks...
I'm not criticizing. I just want to know if dnd beyond is going to be able to handle a campaign like GM 5 can in the future. I know y'all are working hard. I bought the year subscription and hope this happens in the upcoming months.

The feature is more or less already mentioned :p

Both are wonderful ideas, Nazim. The comments would be invaluable for house rules of for modifications to adventures.
