Yeah, the default save options local and sync will always remain. The reason I am working so hard towards an alternative storage route is that I want to build a DM's screen. Basically, it would allow you to pin different parts of an adventure or enter your own tables and you would be able to have a side-scrolling screen that would act similar to a DM's screen you use at a table. The problem is that max's out the sync storage and I refuse to use local because I do everything for my campaign on my PC, but use my laptop during the session. lol
Setting up my own server (which I could, there aren't many people using this plugin) would be the best option because then I can control how it gets the content. However, I wouldn't be allowed to link to my patreon (I think saying that might be too much, if so please edit this moderator). I don't believe DDB has an issue with it but instead it is a licensing agreement between DDB and WotC. Basically, I am not allowed to make money off DDB licensing from WotC. Basically it is a whole thing. lol
What if you have a patreon of cute napkin drawings? Say one a year.
Just wanted to let people know, specifically for those who were used to the quick updates over the summer. I work a lot so updates slow down during the fall-winter-spring season.
However, there are a few updates I have been working on and plan on spending a good portion of the upcoming holiday (thanksgiving).
Please if you have any know bugs that need my attention, please let me know. Even though I have not been active on the forums as much (I also haven't even had the time to play d&d personally). I have been keeping a list of the issues brought up here.
Is there any way to rewrite the initiative tracker so that it actually cycles through the monsters and pcs? This would be a huge help to me and I'm sure others.

I am not sure what you mean by this.
Meaning "next" should push the current player to the end instead of plussing the round counter.
Also sorting by initiative numbers will be good.
And if you can look into why, when i activate your extension, all my notes from Beanote disappear.

I'm having issues logging in to DnD Beyond that are only resolved if I disable the extension? Anyone else experience this?
Known issue, I plan on fixing it in the next release
When I say cycle through. I mean, have it highlight the persons turn. Not just the round. So player A ends their turn you hit next and then mob a is highlighted and you know that it is there turn now.

@SabreRunner I probably won't be doing that, because moving items in the initiative order is quite tricky because you can move them manually too. I do like @GusW idea of just highlighting them instead.
Also, I don't use Beanote, but I can install it and look into it for you assuming its free.
I'm having the same problem, my encounters are no longer showing up after they are created
What sync option are you using?
I just looked into it, it seems that I hadn't selected an option since it was defaulted to 'sync', so I just reset it to 'local' instead. It seems to have deleted the notes that I had stored, but it appears now that the encounters option is now working properly. Lucky for me I didn't have anything too important on the notes. Thanks for having me look into the 'sync' option, it seems to have resolved my problem!
And I would like to add, thank you for your quick response, as well as for developing such a useful extension to this website.
Hi! I just stumbled over the extension and I love it! Unfortunately, my character sheets don't seem to be looking like in the screenshots and are all scrambled up. I tried it on two laptops, same result. I used the Initiative List and pressed "view" to go to the character sheet. Am I missing something? Screenshot: https://ibb.co/WypG58M

Thanks for all your work! It's awesome!! :)
Oh, sorry, nvm. That character sheet in the screenshots, is that the old design perhaps? Sorry, I'm new to D&D Beyond...
Is there any way of having the player character's health bars on the initiative tracker as it is with monsters? i.e. as the players increase/decrease their HP, I can see it as a bar half-filled in my tracker?
Great job with the extension too :)

Is there a chance you could and a feature to make a roll tables? An example would be provide the name of the table and the % chance it can happen and what the result would be.
This would allow anything from a treasure table to a creature encounter table to include dice roll # of creatures.
This would be a great addition to your already great tool.

just found out about this extension, noticed the ability scores are rolling 1d2013 (score was 13) not 1d20 +1, it also seems to be rolling twice for everything I choose.
Llothos are you referring to the character sheet roller? If so the reason it would roll a 1d20 twice is so you could easily do disadvantage and advantage easily.
The idea was that you would just you the top value if you have neither. It was a quick implementation.
just discovered that the toolbox dice roller worked on a product page. I was looking at Waterdeep dragon Heist and it -5 part of Adventure for levels 1-5 was highlighted and I was able to click it and it rolled 1D20-5

I've just tried installing the extension. I tried adding to an encounter but it doesn't seem to show up anywhere. The extension icon is grey.
Also, on the character sheet, sorting shows up but rolling doesn't.

That subpar Dungeon master.

Yeah that is probably it... I might want to look into updating the screenshots at some point

I was wondering if it was something like that that and I was looking to see if I had something enabled but I didn't see anything.
ability checks were still not working on character sheet
Yeah, I have to look at this project this week and see whats up.
