I second that, I would think at the very least it would be included in the homebrew section much like Unearthed Aracana would be after release. Can we get a ruling, is planeshift content official or test content like UA?
Well, I'd like to think that Plane Shift is official, since it was released by Wizards to supply players with rulings for different MtG settings. Including rulings for races we otherwise would have none for.
Plane Shift would be a very interesting feature for a multiverse campaing, sendind our character to other realms and planes.
Then you definitely want to read Planes Shift: Amonkhet, the last two pages are dedicated to quantifying Planewaking in 5e. I like the 'Can cast Plane Shift as a Ritual' option. Gives the PCs agency without them using it as a 'get out of jail free' card, in combat. (though that is also a possibility mentioned)
As content released free from Wizards, it would be really really nice if PlaneShift was implemented on the site. I'm just going to throw in a "here here" as someone who would love to see the PlaneShift content included on DDB.
Well yes the Planeshift stuff is from WotC but alas it is not official rules, cool yes and I also would like to see it added here. maybe have it as a toggle at beginning of character creation.
hey i am fairly new and was wondering how different is this from making a character for this from normal D&D
Not too different, honestly. If you just using a plane as a standard campaign setting, it will run like any other game typically does. Class, Race, Background; it's all there. If you're going for a Planeswalking campaign then the differences will depend on your DM. PWing could be a mechanical feature (with the possibility of using it as a hail marry in super dire situations) or simply a narrative device (with you going from plane-to-plane like you'd walk from town-to-town). It all depends on how you run it.

I'm just wondering if the Plane Shift rulings will ever be added to DDB. It would be nice to have the official rulings for Kor here.
