"We should keep moving," Loark objects. "Not a good place to rest. I'll keep an eye on our sister."
"You know what," Lillianna said, looking around at the group. "I'm starting to feel better. We should keep moving."
"Let...let me make sure." Bran says. [Medicine Check: 24] "Your...your not okay. You...you won't be able to shoot straight for like..an...an hour." Bran says worried for Lilli's health.
"I'm fiiiiiiiine," Lilli said, smiling. "Besides, it's too dangerous here to sit around."
"You and Lo are right," Laila sighed. "We'll stick to the back and you can lean on me."
"Golos keep Lilli safe. Lilli stay behind Golos until Lilli feel better. Then Lilli shoot to heart's content."
The group lingers as they consider the possibility of taking a brief rest and allowing Lilli time to recover from the poison, but finally at her and Loark's insistence they move on, deeming it too dangerous to merely stop and wait out her illness. Craberos leads everyone down the side-passage towards the sounds of the rushing water. The passage slopes downwards noticably after the mostly level area up above, and soon opens out into a decent sized chamber, bisected by a stream noisily flowing across it. There is a further pause as a discussion takes place about the safest means of crossing, but as it is relatively narrow, it's quickly decided that a running leap across will be simplest, with little risk. One after the next, each person backs away and makes their run at the challenge. Lilli hesitates, unsure in her sickened state, but finally gathers her strength and makes the jump without a problem, despite any possible misgivings.
Reorganizing themselves before pressing on, Craberos moves ahead, letting their elven darkvision guide them, joined by Loark who moves to take the place Golos gave up at the front. He seems more eager than ever to kill more than bugs. The others cluster behind, with Lilli at the rear, guarded by Golos, as he'd promised.
Creeping cautiously along, Craberos peers around the bend in the tunnel for an instant before ducking back and waving for quiet and everyone to stop where they are. Up ahead, about 30' further along was a single goblin, stationed at the edge of another (the same?) stream crossing the tunnel once again.
Craberos puts up a finger to their lips, and motions for Dorobo to join them at the front.
"What is it?" Maikune whispers just loud enough to be heard by the elf.
Craberos whispers, "Quiet."
Dorobo points at himself, as if to verify it's really he that Craberos needs. Craberos nods. Dorobo squeezes his way to the front, by Craberos. "What is it?" He asks in a low whisper.
"One down the way, slience it." Craberos whispers back.
"One what?" Before Craberos can answer, Dorobo waves them off, then creeps forward and looks around the corner. He moves back after a moment. "It's pitch black down there, I don't have your elven eyes. What do you see? Is it a goblin finally?"
"Yes, I could go down, but we’d lose the element of surprise" Craberos whispers.
Dorobo frowns. "I get that, but I can't sneak down there if I can't see anything. You're a wizard, can't you..." He wiggles his fingers. "You know. Zap it from here or something?"
Maikune sighs quietly. "The same problem exists; can't zap what I can't see."
Craberos sighs, "Fine."
Craberos is nearly silent as they make their way towards the distant goblin. Watching for the slightest hint of detection, the elf sees none. Indeed, as they gets closer, it is apparent that the goblin is a sentry. The creature sits leaning against the cave wall, its head back, sound asleep and oblivious to the approaching elf. Craberos draws their sword and slices the head clean off. The goblin head rolls a few feet to the bank of another stretch of water with multiple areas beyond it. It is wider here, but a log is laid across as a bridge. No goblins are nearby. Craberos goes back and brings the group forwards to the dead goblin.
“Finally...finally we’re facing goblins. Hopefully...hopefully there is no more giant bugs around.” Bran says quietly.

After Craberos reports the way is clear ahead, the group cautiously advances, stopping at the edge of the water as it once again crosses their path. The water here is wider than it had been at the prior crossing - enough so that between Lilli's sickness and the shorter legs of the halfling member of the group it seems a riskier proposition to cross. Fortunately, the goblins must have had the same realization. They've dragged a log into the caves and have it lain across as a bridge.
To the north, the cave opens up somewhat and there is an open area with a scree of broken stone and debris at the far end. Lilli, even here underground, has a sense of the direction traveled thus far and offers her opinion that the pile of debris might be the same blockage that she and Bran discovered in the bear cave outside - perhaps another means of access to and from the underground, if the time were taken to clear it.
Directly across the log, a narrow tunnel winds deeper, but how much further is unclear as it twists not too far beyond, blocking line of sight from where the group stands. Pausing before crossing the log, the relative quiet from the lack of movement is suddenly broken. From the tunnel ahead, you suddenly hear an outburst of noise - raised voices and coarse laughter reach your ears.
