After years of training, your spellcaster has the ability to augment their spells. Adept Magician is inspired by the sorcerer’s metamagic, and does bring up concerns that others have expressed about the feat.
Reminiscent of the evoker’s 14th level ability, the Spellsurger feat allows spellcasters to drain their stamina in exchange for explosive power. Exhaustion is such a powerful condition that is meddled with rarely in player options, yet creates interesting trade-offs that this feat expands upon.
Like the rogue’s sneak attack, Surprise Spellcasting allows an arcane trickster to use some offensive power with their magic but also gives a particularly sneaky wizard or warlock more flavor.
Inspired by the phrase “cute but deadly,” Unsuspecting gives gnomes and halflings the advantage when they encounter larger enemies that disregard them as small children. This feat works well with rogues, bards, and anyone else who enjoys a friendly deception.

This book creates shields and walls out of the very paper it is made from. The pure visual was too good to pass up. Wizards and artificers proficient in calligrapher’s tools may find this magical item right up their alley.
This cloak imbues you with the spirits of those who have passed on. In short, you now have the powers of a ghost. The ability to possess people is included in this item, an ability that the DMG says doubles a creature’s effective hit points. Tread lightly with this cloak.
Similar to the UA Mystic’s Nomadic Step: Baleful Transposition, this cloak will help you avoid nasty attacks while placing an enemy in harm’s way. While powerful, there are severe limitations on the cloak, keeping it from being overused.
This glove allows spells with a range of self to have a range of touch. This might very well break a game, allowing all sorts of shenanigans from investiture of flame to misty step to shapechange.
These bracers give you more reactions. These bracers are particularly useful for a monk or an abjurer whose opportunities to use reactions are often greater than once per round.
This staff allows for a character to concentrate on more than one spell at a time. The staff resembles a wand of wonder with its many baubles which pop after you use the staff.

The crystal dragon is a plane jumping, space faring, over the top, do-good-er. They have the highest CR of any dragon and may be too powerful. With Reflective Body, I decided to be overly cautious. A crystal dragon might tyrannically rule a section of Mount Celestia or may be a planar adventuring patron. A crystal dragon could also be an otherworldly patron for a celestial warlock. It comes as a wyrmling, young dragon, adult dragon, and ancient dragon.
Another kitchen dragon, the drunkdragon protects spirits, while dipping into its supply. It spews alcoholic vapors at intruders to incapacitate them while it scrambles to find someone else.
Half urban legend, half terrifying creature of the night, the dropowlbear combines the fierceness of the dropbear with the... fierceness of an owlbear. It's generally fearsome and should be avoided at all costs. A gang of them could easily drop a party of even a high level.
The garkain, a creature of the night with leathery wings and the stench of death upon it. It is now from the Shadowfell and now has velociraptor like features and feathers.
The luck dragon is from Limbo, the plane of pure chaos. Serpentine and swimming through the air, luck dragons have the power to manipulate the luck of those around it.
The mime flayer, a unique NPC is a mind flayer parading as a clown or a circus ring leader. They might be leading a troop through the Underdark, a marvel in a freak show in Sigil. The mime flayer can be anywhere... including right behind you!
Undead orcas. Taken from orcas’ scientific name Orcinus orca, these undead whales serve cultists of the Orcus on the high seas. The fragrant smell of a whale’s decomposing body on the high seas warns of an undead pirate ship towed by orcini or a group of ravenous ghouls riding on the backs of the fearsome creatures.
The quipper dragon is like an actual dragon, however is limited to the water. The quipper dragon is not just half quipper, it also has a sharp tongue and bardic magic it lashes out with, falling back on physical attacks when all else fails.
A monster designed with the intent of being a companion, these long lived fey creatures are absolutely adorable! Tamed seawolves, these half fish half dogs are loyal guardians and fearless aquatic hunters. If a Beast Master wants the pupperfish as their companion, I suggest removing the additional cold damage and control water to give it a CR of 1/4.

Half elf and half dwarf, this human looking race is a rare sight. Never exactly at home, dwelves are often used as symbols of progress or the dangers of racial integration.
Inspired by AD&D's tween monster, this race comes from the transitive planes, the ethereal and astral planes. As a culture, they are reclusive and shy, not interested in causing much chaos in the divides they inhabit. The same can not be said for the individual tween.

Much like the cloak of transrelocation, this spell is inspired by UA Mystic’s Nomadic Step: Baleful Transposition. Allowing you to switch places with an enemy that is not in immediate danger.
Telekinetic Deflection is a far less powerful version of Telekinetic Ward that requires your reaction, lasts only a round, and keeps less damage from hitting.

Have you ever wanted to do awesome jumps like Legolas in the Hobbit movies? With the Aerialist for the ranger, now you can. You are a master at feats of agility and gymnastics and get all sorts of fun nifty abilities. I'm not sure about the capstone and would love suggestions on it. This wacky subclass was dreamed up in the 24 hours following the removal of my wisdom teeth. Apparently this is what happens when I am on antibiotics that don't let me sleep until 1 A.M.
Equipped with spells to communicate with the dead and act as a semi-religious figure, this druid loves the adopted family they find in their party. The Circle of Spirits is not just limited to tribes, a shaman can be a caretaker for the City of the Dead in Waterdeep as easily as they can be an Uthgardt shaman.
Bards of the College of Creation (not creationists) are one of the oldest bardic orders in the multiverse, travelling the outer plane, drawing on the first words of creation as their immediate power source. They craft reality out of nothing and can briefly unmake reality.
As featured on the February 28th developer’s update stream, love, pain, joy, anger, fear, and a host of other feelings, can find their home in this subclass. While focused on the charmed condition, I suggest consulting your DM about flavoring it for more than just undying love.
The Musketeer is in the style of the suave and dashing swashbuckler and the musketeers of the Three Musketeers. The subclass has the optional rule to allow for firearm proficiency and this is reflected in their modifiers so no reason to add additional modifiers for it. The Fashion Sense ability is implemented on the character sheet however it is applied to all armor not just the ones specified in the description.
While other wizards study the arcane, natural philosophers study the natural world. Natural Philosophy is technically an entry into the astromancy series, as it features an astronomy field. This is probably my most ambitious subclass, highly complex and likely broken. All feedback is appreciated!
This subclass is a particular favorite of mine. Embracing the idea of the troll completely, this barbarian eats flesh and regenerates. At higher levels they can gain mutations and grow additional limbs. Before you ask, the regeneration effect is nearly identical to the resistances given by a barbarian's rage. Please let me know how this one plays! I have not had a playtester and would be excited to see how well it goes
Hearkening back to the days of Spelljammer, the phlogiston magic subclass is built for aliens, giff, and everything bizarre and otherworldly in between. As another entry into the astromancy series, I strongly recommend pairing this subclass with spells like Black Hole and Increase/Decrease Gravity.
These explorers and protectors venture off into the unknown, looking to survive on their wits and their party. This subclass has some fun mechanics, some are a little niche but I hope I've compensated for that. If you are familiar with Mike Mearls' Happy Fun Hour I took some inspiration from his fighter subclass he wrote.
Inspired by the antics of Ant-man, prior to Endgame, the proportioner possess psionics similar to the duergar's enlarge/reduce psionic abilities. It is a lot of fun and likely very broken.
This subclass takes ghosts, merrenoloths, and the Raven Queen, all creatures that oversee the moment of death, into The Psychopomp. Psychopomps include gods like Hermes and Anubis or the Grim Reaper and are interested in ushering souls from one life to another. Pact of the Blade is a clear fit, but Pact of the Tome possesses equal flavor and mechanical benefits, even Pact of the Chain is a viable option. If your DM is onboard, I suggest allowing the familiar to be undead.
This was created as a tribute to Twitch's premier tavern themed roleplaying channel (I have yet to see evidence to the contrary) the Plastered Dragon. In many of the channel's D&D games, Plastered Dragon taverns are found in every major city with firm and fair bartenders. Little does the general customer base know that the Plastered Dragon is an inter-dimensional tavern chain. A true neutral ground for all sorts to meet and congregate peacefully. The bartenders make it so. This subclass represents the standard bartender who have ventured out of their bars.
Conceived before the release of the artificer, the way of the weaver takes a more mystic approach to creating magical items. The charms and superior charms presented have no mechanical effect in the character sheet so I encourage you to create your own. Unfortunately, the number of talismans does not scale properly if you multiclass. If someone has a solution for this, please reach out.

Bringing genasi to the intermediate elemental planes, the ice genasi hails from the frozen frostfell. Their icy demeanors (pun intended) and powerful spellcasting make them an interesting wizard or artificer.
Dwarves dig deep, perhaps straight into another plane of existence, the Earth Elemental Plane to be specific. These dwarves make great sorcerers and have powers over the earth.

Inspired by the truly disturbing rendering by DungeonMaya, I have created the mime flayer. The mime flayer, a unique NPC is a mind flayer parading as a clown or a circus ring leader. They might be leading a troop through the underdark, a marvel in a freak show in Sigil. The mime flayer can be anywhere... including right behind you!
Much like in its lore, dropowlbear was not created by choice. I was commissioned to combine this staple of modern day Australian folklore with a classic D&D monster. Half urban legend, half terrifying creature of the night, the dropowlbear combines the fierceness of the dropbear with the... fierceness of an owlbear. It's generally fearsome and should be avoided at all costs. A gang of them could easily drop a party of even a high level.

Adept Magician does not use sorcerer points, instead gives two metamagic options, one of which you can use once per day.
Cetacean got a tooltip fixed.
Increase/Decrease Gravity, Increase Gravity more specifically, now knocks creatures prone.
Natural Philosopher got a tooltip fixed.
Telekinetic Ward is now 3rd level and requires concentration.

Flitting about in taverns, restaurants, and industrial kitchens are kitchen dragons! Kitchen dragons are psuedodragons that have been breed and trained to guard kitchens and its contents within. There are two variants, the daerie dragon and the drunkdragon. The daerie dragon eats and protects aging cheese. Due to their dairy diets, they have a stench and a sticky breath weapon. The drunkdragon protects spirits, while dipping into its supply. It spews alcoholic vapors at intruders to incapacitate them while it scrambles to find someone else.

It's been a minute and I hope this finds you well. Today, I have a lot of updates to share with you.
Updates
Book of Shields now deals slashing and not piercing. Wording in Black Hole has been updated. Cloak of Posthumous Power has been nerfed slightly. Cerberus Corgi has its bite attack damage die reduced to 1d4 and its CR is now 1/2. Circle of Spirits' Familial Ward has been tweaked as has Familial Rejuvenation. Dramatic Reveal's monologue effects Intelligence, Charisma, and Wisdom saving throws. The Awestriking channel divinity from the Emotion Domain now has the option Ecstasy and new language about the duration has been added. Elemental Absorption is now 6th level. The Spellbow now gives +1 to ranged spell attacks.

Inspired by the typo “half-orca”, these courageous sea dwellers are searching for their long lost creator across the planes.
Dwelf
Half elf and half dwarf, this human looking race is a rare sight. Never exactly at home, dwelves are often used as symbols of progress or the dangers of racial integration.
Inbetween
Inspired by AD&D's tween monster, this race comes from the transitive planes, the ethereal and astral planes. As a culture, they are reclusive and shy, not interested in causing much chaos in the divides they inhabit. The same can not be said for the individual tween.

Alter Sky
A spell in my “Astromancy” spell series, this spell changes the sky around you, allowing for eclipses or blood red moons.
Baleful Transposition
Much like the cloak of transrelocation, this spell is inspired by UA Mystic’s Nomadic Step: Baleful Transposition. Allowing you to switch places with an enemy that is not in immediate danger.
Black Hole
An Astromancy spell that creates an tear in space time.
Elemental Absorption
Based on golems’ ability to heal when it takes damage, this gives a spellcaster a small taste of that magic.
Existential Dread
Technically an Astromancy spell, this fills your enemies with fear of the unknown.
Increase/Decrease Gravity
Another Astromancy spell, Increase/Decrease Gravity can make you as light as feather or as heavy as a boulder.
Infuse with Void
An astromancy spell, Infuse with Void brings the vacuum of wildspace to your enemies.
Mute
Mute, like silence, shuts down verbal components of spells, a real pain for a spellcaster.
Telekinetic Deflection
Telekinetic Deflection is a far less powerful version of Telekinetic Ward that requires your reaction, lasts only a round, and keeps less damage from hitting.
Telekinetic Field
Telekinetic Field stops an area effect from harming you too much but sustains the effect after it has ended.
Telekinetic Ward
Telekinetic Ward keeps attacks at bay, bringing enemies’ weapons into orbit around you.

Subclasses
Aerialist (Ranger)
Have you ever wanted to do awesome jumps like Legolas in the Hobbit movies? With the Aerialist for the ranger, now you can. You are a master at feats of agility and gymnastics and get all sorts of fun nifty abilities. I'm not sure about the capstone and would love suggestions on it. This wacky subclass was dreamed up in the 24 hours following the removal of my wisdom teeth. Apparently this is what happens when I am on antibiotics that don't let me sleep until 1 A.M.
Circle of Spirits (Druid)
Equipped with spells to communicate with the dead and act as a semi-religious figure, this druid loves the adopted family they find in their party. The Circle of Spirits is not just limited to tribes, a shaman can be a caretaker for the City of the Dead in Waterdeep as easily as they can be an Uthgardt shaman.
College of Creation (Bard)
Bards of the College of Creation (not creationists) are one of the oldest bardic orders in the multiverse, travelling the outer plane, drawing on the first words of creation as their immediate power source. They craft reality out of nothing and can briefly unmake reality.
Emotion Domain (Cleric)
As featured on the February 28th developer’s update stream, love, pain, joy, anger, fear, and a host of other feelings, can find their home in this subclass. While focused on the charmed condition, I suggest consulting your DM about flavoring it for more than just undying love.
Musketeer (Fighter)
The Musketeer is in the style of the suave and dashing swashbuckler and the musketeers of the Three Musketeers. The subclass has the optional rule to allow for firearm proficiency and this is reflected in their modifiers so no reason to add additional modifiers for it. The Fashion Sense ability is implemented on the character sheet however it is applied to all armor not just the ones specified in the description.
Natural Philosopher (Wizard)
While other wizards study the arcane, natural philosophers study the natural world. Natural Philosophy is technically an entry into the astromancy series, as it features an astronomy field. This is probably my most ambitious subclass, highly complex and likely broken. All feedback is appreciated!
Path of the Trollskin (Barbarian)
This subclass is a particular favorite of mine. Embracing the idea of the troll completely, this barbarian eats flesh and regenerates. At higher levels they can gain mutations and grow additional limbs. Before you ask, the regeneration effect is nearly identical to the resistances given by a barbarian's rage. Please let me know how this one plays! I have not had a playtester and would be excited to see how well it goes
Phlogiston Magic (Sorcerer)
Hearkening back to the days of Spelljammer, the phlogiston magic subclass is built for aliens, giff, and everything bizarre and otherworldly in between. As another entry into the astromancy series, I strongly recommend pairing this subclass with spells like Black Hole and Increase/Decrease Gravity.
Pioneer (Fighter)
These explorers and protectors venture off into the unknown, looking to survive on their wits and their party. This subclass has some fun mechanics, some are a little niche but I hope I've compensated for that. If you are familiar with Mike Mearls' Happy Fun Hour I took some inspiration from his fighter subclass he wrote.
Proportioner (Rogue)
Inspired by the antics of Ant-man, prior to Endgame, the proportioner possess psionics similar to the duergar's enlarge/reduce psionic abilities. It is a lot of fun and likely very broken.
The Psychopomp (Warlock)
This subclass takes ghosts, merrenoloths, and the Raven Queen, all creatures that oversee the moment of death, into The Psychopomp. Psychopomps include gods like Hermes and Anubis or the Grim Reaper and are interested in ushering souls from one life to another. Pact of the Blade is a clear fit, but Pact of the Tome possesses equal flavor and mechanical benefits, even Pact of the Chain is a viable option. If your DM is onboard, I suggest allowing the familiar to be undead.
Way of the Plastered Dragon (Monk)
This was created as a tribute to Twitch's premier tavern themed roleplaying channel (I have yet to see evidence to the contrary) the Plastered Dragon. In many of the channel's D&D games, Plastered Dragon taverns are found in every major city with firm and fair bartenders. Little does the general customer base know that the Plastered Dragon is an inter-dimensional tavern chain. A true neutral ground for all sorts to meet and congregate peacefully. The bartenders make it so. This subclass represents the standard bartender who have ventured out of their bars.
Way of the Weaver (Monk)
Conceived before the release of the artificer, the way of the weaver takes a more mystic approach to creating magical items. The charms and superior charms presented have no mechanical effect in the character sheet so I encourage you to create your own. Unfortunately, the number of talismans does not scale properly if you multiclass. If someone has a solution for this, please reach out.

Ice Genasi
Bringing genasi to the intermediate elemental planes, the ice genasi hails from the frozen frostfell. Their icy demeanors (pun intended) and powerful spellcasting make them an interesting wizard or artificer.
Terran Dwarf
Dwarves dig deep, perhaps straight into another plane of existence, the Earth Elemental Plane to be specific. These dwarves make great sorcerers and have powers over the earth.

Hey all!
I have four new wonderful and frightening monsters to share with you all.
Inspired by the truly disturbing rendering by DungeonMaya, I have created the mime flayer. The mime flayer, a unique NPC is a mind flayer parading as a clown or a circus ring leader. They might be leading a troop through the underdark, a marvel in a freak show in Sigil. The mime flayer can be anywhere... including right behind you!
Much like in its lore, dropowlbear was not created by choice. I was commissioned to combine this staple of modern day Australian folklore with a classic D&D monster. Half urban legend, half terrifying creature of the night, the dropowlbear combines the fierceness of the dropbear with the... fierceness of an owlbear. It's generally fearsome and should be avoided at all costs. A gang of them could easily drop a party of even a high level.
While researching the dropbear, I came across two other Aboriginal monsters that were too amazing not to adapt for 5th edition. First is the garkain, a creature of the night with leathery wings and the stench of death upon it. It is now from the Shadowfell and now has velociraptor like features and feathers.

I've released some updates to some old homebrew.
Adept Magician does not use sorcerer points, instead gives two metamagic options, one of which you can use once per day.
Cetacean got a tooltip fixed.
Increase/Decrease Gravity, Increase Gravity more specifically, now knocks creatures prone.
Natural Philosopher got a tooltip fixed.
Telekinetic Ward is now 3rd level and requires concentration.
If you, like me, love low level telekinesis, fear not! I have created Telekinetic Deflection, a less powerful version of Telekinetic Ward that requires your reaction, lasts only a round, and keeps less damage from hitting.

Hey all!
I have a (flock? fleet? armada? tyranny? treasury? trove? hoard?) of homebrewed dragons to share with you all.
The only true dragon I made is the crystal dragon. The crystal dragon is a plane jumping, space faring, over the top, do-good-er. They have the highest CR of any dragon and may be too powerful. With Reflective Body, I decided to be overly cautious. A crystal dragon might tyrannically rule a section of Mount Celestia or may be a planar adventuring patron. A crystal dragon could also be an otherworldly patron for a celestial warlock.
Flitting about in taverns, restaurants, and industrial kitchens are kitchen dragons! Kitchen dragons are psuedodragons that have been breed and trained to guard kitchens and its contents within. There are two variants, the daerie dragon and the drunkdragon. The daerie dragon eats and protects aging cheese. Due to their dairy diets, they have a stench and a sticky breath weapon. The drunkdragon protects spirits, while dipping into its supply. It spews alcoholic vapors at intruders to incapacitate them while it scrambles to find someone else.
Entering into completely new dragons, we have the luck dragon, a dragon from Limbo, the plane of pure chaos. Serpentine and swimming through the air, luck dragons have the power to manipulate the luck of those around it.
The quipper dragon is like an actual dragon, however is limited to the water. The quipper dragon is not just half quipper, it also has a sharp tongue and bardic magic it lashes out with, falling back on physical attacks when all else fails.

Should that be "verbal component of spells"?

It's been a minute and I hope this finds you well. Today, I have a lot of updates to share with you.
Updates
Book of Shields now deals slashing and not piercing.
Wording in Black Hole has been updated.
Cloak of Posthumous Power has been nerfed slightly.
Cerberus Corgi has its bite attack damage die reduced to 1d4 and its CR is now 1/2.
Circle of Spirits' Familial Ward has been tweaked as has Familial Rejuvenation.
Dramatic Reveal's monologue effects Intelligence, Charisma, and Wisdom saving throws.
The Awestriking channel divinity from the Emotion Domain now has the option Ecstasy and new language about the duration has been added.
Elemental Absorption is now 6th level.
The Spellbow now gives +1 to ranged spell attacks.
