The morning and the afternoon of the ninth day also pass without troubles. The party uses this time mostly for foraging and find useful herbs or berries.
In the evening, however, a torrential storm comes. Strong wind, heavy precipitation. The sound of occasional animals is covered by thunders. The canoes are not safe in the river.
Musharib:" We need to take them inland. Come on, slackers!"
OOC Need 2 Athletics checks, from 2 different characters. Assuming the others helps, you can make the checks with advantage.
Felix passes the Sinda Rum around to the other if they want some "Drink up guys, It taste better after the third swig!". Once we get up in the morning if Burnella goes out to forge Felix will join her.

Felix Windfall (Human-V Lv.7 Rogue) killed in ToA,Vallan Houndstrider (Halfling Ghostwise Lv.1 Fighter) in DiA
Irommek wakes wet and hungry from the previous night's storm. Foregoing his morning water, he decides that putting bug repellent on while drinking ale will help lift his spirits. Wondering around camp and putting back on his armor while juggling his jug of ale with his shield, he scouts for something edible.
The day proceeds quietly. At mid-afternoon, finally, the party reaches another landmark: Camp Vengeance.
Through the foliage, you see a crude timber fortification — a walled compound with watchtowers and tents inside it, encircled by a ditch bristling with sharpened stakes. A large gatehouse faces the river, on the shore of which are four rowboats tied to a wooden post.
Scattered around the fort are piles of charred human corpses and flayed animal carcasses swarming with flies.
"Our boats were destroyed last time, we should moor the boats upriver and approach by foot," suggests Brunella. Brunella looks for a suitable mooring place (500 feet or so) away to hide the boats.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.

"We should attach the boats and see if there's survivors here. I remember the priest in the city saying that the Order go the Gauntlet were having problems with undead"

"We should attach the boats and see if there's survivors here. I remember the priest in the city saying that the Order go the Gauntlet were having problems with undead"
Two guards are stationed atop the gatehouse, one on the watchtowers.
"I think there are still survivors. If they are from the Order of the Gauntlet, we have nothing to fear here... I guess we can leave the boats close the 4 others other there." Kurma is pointing to the 4 boats moored close to the fort.
“It would seem that our time in the jungle has made us a little paranoid. Oh well, can’t be too cautious I suppose”.
Irommek helps paddle to a small clearing on the western shore, north of the camp. Once the boat is secured he looks to the others.
“Right. No need to sit here and swat bugs along the shore. Let’s head down to the river entrance and take a closer look at those guards.”
Turning to Brunella and Felix he says, “I’ll watch our backs and take rear guard if you want to take the lead. I think Gertrude has a connection with those Gauntlet folks, so she should take point with you.”
Gertrude helps Brunella, Kurma and Felix to hide the boats north of the camp in a bush close to the water.
Turning to Irommek, Gertrude states: "The order of the gauntlet - if these guys belong to this order - see their highest worth in fighting evil. If we can show them that we want to do just that, fight evil and kill undead, then they'll be on our side. But it seems they had constant attacks, these rotting cadavers and the stench will have driven them to the edge of what they can handle. We need to be very careful with our approach. Make sure to show no weapons, I will call out to them as soon as we're close enough."
Then Gertrude walks slowly forward, out into the open, showing her empty hands to the guards... she then stops for the others to follow her.

The storm clouds are starting to bulge and press the skies lower to the ground. Everything is dark and the rain is starting to blind Gertrude.
She walks right next to Musharib, only able to see his outline and nothing more. Then they push the boats together:
"Musharib, on three - one, two, three - and again, one, two, three"
11 + 3
"We'll need a third person, someone else come and help us!!!"
As Gertrude is pushing on the canoes, Kurma is casting Guidance to help her
