Tilly returns downstairs sits down in her chair and starts twirling her dagger.
"Right, so this place is a dry hole. So let's come up with some half baked plan and go F@#$ it up, huh? So, standard damsel in distress situation? I think we can handle that. Where are we starting? Hey, how much coin do we have now? I'm all for patronizing Burt's fine shop, but I think we're broke right? Unless we're going to villain it up and just take what we need? Maybe a little down payment on getting your lady back?"
Persuasion 13
"What do you think Burt? Got anything you want to give us? Or anything we should just F@#$in' take?"
Joining everyone downstairs Yordis catches the last part of the conversation, "So we're helping Burt then are we? Fair enough. That sword looks great, shame none of us use that type of weapon but I'm sure we can find a use for it. If you have any plate armour going spare that'd be much more use to me though"
Do we have any leads, Burt, where are we starting?

"You're planning to come with us? You fall to pieces when the girl threatens you.... Maybe Bowlder would do well with it if we get him a shield as well. Are you not trained with the sword, Yordis?" Droogan looks over the remaining two customers. "Either of you looking for work?"
"I say we swing by the apothecary, stock up on those tasty f@#$in' potions. Get you guys some big F@#$ Off armor from this guys shop and then go kill what needs killin'. Sound like a plan? Good? Great! Let's f@#$in' roll."
Here's what I'm thinkin': We accept the Mercenary's Rest as an asset. Hire someone to mind the place while we're out. We'll still need to check out the kitchen. We'll want to bring some food and eat before we head out. We'll want to pull a table and chairs downstairs and set up a war room down there later. As you said we'll want potions and armor if we can get any. Then we'll rescue the D in D and maybe take down the bads.
We'll decide if we help the rest of this town, take over running the pit, or escape through the tunnels at that time.

As long as the amount of time taken up with the running the tavern is minimal then yes, perfect. We have no money by the way so any loot is going to have to be acquired by hoisting Tilly through a windows in the middle of the night.

I'll use it with a shield till level 4 if Bowlder doesn't want it.
I'm fine with you using it. And your later suggestion for a course of action.

Hearing the rest of the conversation, I don't think ya can get any of 'em potions round here and anything else ya want from me shop will need to be bought got to make livin' ya know?
The last patron gets up guess this means I don't got a room to stay in now.
"See, there? We're poised to pay well enough for any gear. We've managed some gold in less than a day together already. This'll be the start of a worthwhile friendship and investment... Anyone in town you know who'd like some stable work?"
Droogan fumbles around to set up the 'guest' for a room. Then visits the kitchen and packs some food (hopefully enough to feed 5 for 3-10 days.)
The man does not need a room as he was the guest who already had one,
in the kitchen you find that it is grievously under stocked and there is only enough for the 3 days.

I think he means a manager to run the business for us, Droogan is an entrepreneurial goliath. And he may also be trying to secure an advance for any gear we might want to buy due to our sound financial footing and business portfolio ;)

To the patron "Nah Nah, you stay. This suddenly went for the most dangerous tavern to the safest. Think of the great d@#$ stories you can tell people? I was there when those five bada@#$#es opened up...
To the group: "What are we gonna call this damn place "The Goblin's Satchel"? "The Short Trip on a Long Road?" "The Hung Jury"? I'm thinking we need a sign with some f@#$in' curb appeal.
Back to the Patron: "Anyway, you can stay...oh hey do you want to run this place? What are your credientials? Do you have any experience in the Tavern business? Who are your references? Do they scare easily? Do they have an unusual amount of unsecured jewels in their possession?"
he looks over at you, well, someone's chat aren't they? No I have never run a tavern before and this is probably one of the worst I ever seen so good luck making it into something valuable. he gets up and goes to the stairs I will be in my room for now and will be gone first light tomorrow.
