Hi everyone,

I'm the Dungeon Master for an actual play podcast called the Endless Quest.  I want our current fans, potential listeners, and anyone else who appreciates D&D to be able to engage with the podcast in a fun and direct way.  That's why I'm creating this contest.  The rules are simple.  Create an awesome NPC for use in the podcast.  If I like it, I'll use it, and give you a shoutout on the show.  Don't worry too much about stat blocks, just give a description.

Here are some guidelines:

• Don't make it too complicated.  The less in depth the backstory and lore is, the easier it is for me to use it in the story.
• Make sure it's a balanced character.  I don't need a new BBEG, just a cool character I can throw into the story.
• Ideas could include a mercenary, a bounty hunter, a wandering scholar, a bard, an explorer, an innkeeper, a town guard, a hermit, a guildmaster, a peddler, a pilgrim, and so much more!!
• You could even enter a player character from one of your home games.

I'm excited to see all the epic ideas that the DDB community will come up with!
