If an entirely unrelated person didn't publish an item, then it shouldn't show up for your group, but if someone in your group created something then it might have been shared internally. If you can drop a link to the character sheet, I might be able to give you a more helpful answer.
But, you're saying another person could make a Homebrew item, not publish it, but it'd still show up in my campaign as an option?
That doesn't sound right.
Homebrew that anyone in your campaign has made is shared with everyone in the campaign. So chances are it's homebrew someone else in the campaign made.
Anyone know what's up with this item?
One of my players stumbled across it from w/in his character sheet view:
Manage Equipment -> check the Magical box -> check the Ring box
and it's at the top of the list.
Yet, when I try to find it through any other search function, I can't seem to locate it. It's not showing up under Homebrews either.
It's not official, so if it's also not showing up under homebrew, then the player may have created it themself and not published it.
Well, I know that this player didn't create it.

Gotcha. So, it's likely Homebrew that was unpublished then.
Thank you!
