Happy Halloween! Today's update contains a few changes in preparation for upcoming features, as well as a few small bug fixes.

 

Additions:
  • The character builder will now enforce racial requirements of feats. Finally, you will only be able to select Svirfneblin Magic if your character is a Deep Gnome.
  • Enabled pagination controls at the top of forums and private messages listings.
Bugs:
  • Fixed an issue with the builder getting stuck when selecting the Hobgoblin's martial weapon proficiencies.

 

Notes:

With the addition of racial requirements of feats, the feat list will now be restricted to the feats that your character's race can know within feat selection in the builder. Your character's existing feat choices will not be affected. This update is primarily in preparation for Xanathar's Guide to Everything's new racial feats. These settings will also be available for the upcoming addition of homebrew feats.

 

When you change your character's race to one that cannot learn a feat you already know, you will be warned that you have a feat that is an invalid selection for that particular race. This will not delete the feat from you character, but only serves as a reminder.
