The necessity to download the entire book in order to update it required time and bandwidth. We changed the entire mechanism of updating books to make them smaller and easier to prepare.
You can now expect updates to books which are going to take just a few megabytes to download. In the upcoming weeks we are going to be releasing updates to many books to provide the latest versions of the content.
But we did not forget about character sheets. You can now track charges directly in the app.
Stay tuned for more updates soon!

Posted Jan 19, 2022Any chance that we'll be able to view our content online in the future (I.e., without downloading entire books) like we are already able to do with the website?
Since most modern phones no longer have expandable storage, it's asking a lot to require many gigabytes of storage space just to view/search our licensed books — especially for those of us who with large libraries.

Posted Feb 1, 2022Wait, I'm pretty sure that incremental book updates have been already done once, for the DDB Reader app... oh well. Not that I can enjoy this, cause in the last 2 years, there's still no light theme available, so I still can't use the app.
And yes, I will comment this for every damn update, cause it's a huge usability issue, that makes the whole app unavailable for people whose eyes can't handle the strain caused by gray and red text on black background.

Posted Feb 2, 2022Cool. What about the rest of the app, including the list of books, all the listings, and all the character sheet options? Mind you, the DDB reader app had more parts presenting in light mode than the current one, which means they had to redo/redesign options to be able to remove the light mode. And frankly, the book reader part is what I would use the least, as the navigation is so uncomfortable, it's still way better to read the books from a browser...

Posted Feb 11, 2022Is there a change log for the books specifically? So we know what is being updated when the update for a book comes through?
