Local game stores in the U.S. and Canada are hosting a weekend filled with D&D fun, and you can join in! The first of three events this year celebrates the release of Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves by welcoming new and returning players with learn-to-play games as well as playthroughs of the Prisoner 13 heist adventure from Keys from the Golden Vault!
Learn-to-Play Demos
New and returning players can play a short, 30-minute demo encounter titled Voyage to Stormwreck Isle in stores. Ready-to-play characters featured in the D&D Starter Set: Dragons of Stormwreck Isle will be available for play—just bring yourself and get ready for a fun time! The encounter leads right into the adventure in the D&D Starter Set, providing a nice setup to continue the adventure in Dragons of Stormwreck Isle.
Prisoner 13 Play
If you’re an experienced player looking for a fun time, the 4th-level adventure Prisoner 13 from the anthology Keys from the Golden Vault will be available in many stores. Bring your own 4th-level character—either from your own games (check with your Dungeon Master first), a new one you want to take for a test spin, or a D&D Adventurers League character. Prepare to delve into the infamous Revel’s End prison on a retrieval mission you won’t forget!
How to Participate
The event takes place April 7-9. Contact your local Wizards Play Network game store to check times and table availability. If you’re a longtime D&D fan, ask your store if they need Dungeon Masters! Find your store at the Store and Event Locator. Select “D&D Events” and enter your location to get started!
