To celebrate the launch of Forgotten Realms: Adventures in Faerûn andForgotten Realms: Heroes of Faerûn, we’re inviting players to write themselves into legend through The Realms Will Know Your Name Homebrew Feat Contest.
Using the D&D Beyond Homebrew tool, craft a custom feat that captures the essence of the Realms and earn a chance to win legendary prizes worthy of the stories you’ll tell!
This is your chance to show what the Realms will remember you for.
Submission Requirements

- A name for your feat
- A short (1 to 3 sentence) description (max 125 words) in English
- A simple, optional mechanic or effect
This contest celebrates creativity and story over crunch or complexity. You don’t need to balance your feat like official rules content—just make it imaginative, evocative, and personal. Think about what special abilities your hero would be remembered for, not just what gives them a +1 bonus to their attack rolls.
Need inspiration? Here are a few examples to get you started:
- The Greg Effect: You’re not supposed to be legendary, but by some stroke of luck, you’ve made a name for yourself. You have Advantage on Charisma checks on citizens in the region or city of your choice (for example, Baldur’s Gate, The Dalelands, Icewind Dale, Calimshan, or Moonshae Isles).
- Realms Walker: You’ve been wandering the Realms your entire life and know its roads and rivers like the back of your hand. You have Advantage on Wisdom (Survival) checks made to navigate the wilderness and ignore the effects of Difficult Terrain.
- Spirit Dragon’s Favor: You always have the Haste (target Self only) andLegend Lore spell prepared. You can cast either spell once without a spell slot, and you regain the ability to cast it that way when you finish a Long Rest. When you cast a spell in this way, it requires no spell components.
