Gen Con is over and we are back into the full swing of things here at Dungeons & Dragons.
Mentioned in the Vision Keynote, but not fully detailed, I want to be sure to highlight the incredible Partnered Content we have coming to D&D Beyond through the end of the year, as well as more adventure content with Legends of Greyhawk!
As we shift into our Season of Magic and then our Season of Champions, we are introducing whimsical and magic-focused content. Hope everyone enjoys the break from grimdark and horror!
Moving forward, I am calling out specific dates for our releases, but please know that sometimes things can shift depending on complications or delays, so watch our Discord and our new Content Roadmap for any last-minute updates!

Posted Aug 27, 2026idk from what i saw of the magus class from a preview i found i wasnt to thrilled with it personally. unless things have changes drastically or i missed something (def possible) this doesnt really hit the mark alot of these spell blade type of classes n subclasses miss the mark bc they let you attack then cast a spell when i think magus i think something like older editions of dnd and pf1e n 2e where you cast the spell as you attack legit mixing both spell n attack into one for devastating combos

Posted Aug 27, 2026the magus is to bridge the gap between eldritch knight and blade singer. think of it like this
blade singer went to collage with a major in spell casting and a minor in martial stuff
eldritch knight went to collage with a major in martial stuff and a minor in spell casting
both only slightly cover the others roll with moth having large downsides being the wizard is HP wise weak and its martial stuff isnt all that were as the EK has the martial stuff but because its a 1/3rd caster its pretty lacking in spell casting department

Posted Aug 27, 2026Why is the Warlord specifying that it is a 5e class? Is it not being updated for 5.5e?

Posted Aug 27, 2026So we get a 5e warlord class? Sooooo what about the other stuff? Why doesn't that get also a 5e version? Cause if people go check there is a 5e version of all the stuff they have released that is 3rd-party so I still don't get why they just don't just sell both version so we can also use the sub-classes with the original classes and not have to make them in the homebrew page, which still is missing to make some of the stuff work properly.
This is really estrange for this lack of 5e support from them besides the 3rd parties outside of the website.

Posted Aug 27, 2026More Visionary Studios content, give us Chronicles of Eberron plzzzz. As opposed to this stuff which is, to put it nicely, underwhelming. More homebrew classes are usually just clutter. All been so far sorry.

Posted Aug 27, 2026Magus is a popular Pathfinder class. Bladesinger is more of the Mage who wants to use a sword, while Magus is the Warrior who wants to use magic. Basically its what the Eldritch Knight would be if it was a full class and not just a subclass.

Posted Aug 27, 2026they dont want to use 5e anymore there for WOTC no longer produces stuff for 5.5e and from what iv been told by people who have made stuff for 5.5e 3rd party stuff they are the ones with the choice but they also want to make money so why make stuff for a version of dnd that doesnt get supported?
